Her son served in Kuwait and when she was Governor went over there when the Alaskan Guard deployed - not much but she’s more than enough of a leader to run a health and service bureaucracy for veterans

This is a head-scratcher. Interior? Perhaps. But Veterans Affairs? With all the problems that the VA has, is Palin the person who has the experience and the know-how and the drive to solve them? I question it.

Sarah Palin would be a great pick for this. While she, herself, has never served in the military, she does have executive experience and a genuine love and appreciation for our vets!
