More White People Are Dying Than Are Being Born in 17 States

More white Americans are now dying than being born in a third of U.S. states, according to a study released Tuesday, which shows white deaths outpacing births in a record 17 states stretching from California to Maine.

The study, by the University of New Hampshire, found natural decreases in the white population across 17 states in 2014, including Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, which together comprise 38% of the U.S. population. That’s a big shift from 2004 when only four states had more white deaths than births. The declines, exacerbated by the Great Recession, are largely driven by an aging white population, fewer women of childbearing age, and lower fertility rates overall, according to researchers.

The presence of non-white people is not the driver of white births or deaths. The statistics in this article were NOT comparative; they considered only the white population.

When something is called the “baby boom”, it’s not suppose to last forever.

Mentions Arizona and Nevada, along with Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, but doesn’t list the other 9 states that would bring the total to 17.

When infant mortality is low, the motivation to have more children in a family is rapidly diminished. That is just my opinion, but it appears to be the case.

They’re in for a big surprise, these cats who are hanging their hats on “demographics.”

I work with a boatload of Mexican (legal) immigrants. All voted for DJT. They are not interested in open borders and especially not interested in refugees from the ME. However, nothing chaps them more than the social issues, especially the gender issues (including which bathrooms to use).

This has a very good case of blowing up in their face, the Dems. In which case, they might like a wall or something. :)

Amazing how many do not get that the Baby Boom was a population bubble and not a trend. This is the correction back to what was before.

The biggest factor in this trend is out-migration of working-age adults to other states with stronger employment prospects.

The list was compiled by the same folks who compiled the list of all our 57 states. They have a habit of skipping a few.

Nuts. I did not see a listing of the 17 states in the article.

More evidence of non-interest in fly over states??

Well, I’ve already been born, and so have my kids.

So, the only thing I can do at this point to affect that comparative statistic is die.

And that won’t help the imbalance, so I think I’ll try to hang on for a few more years.

Oh, didn’t you hear? According to Castro lovers, America has a far higher mortality rate among babies than healthy, happy Cuba.

And the study was conducted by Captain Obvious.

The result of the predictable massive die off of all us boomers who are kicking the bucket now and skewing the stats. IMO.

A horrible economy is also another factor since children cost big time and the fact that white people seem to be more concerned about paying their bills when permissible. Sure that sounds racist but call up any collections company and get them to tell you the truth. I've seen thousands upon thousands of credit reports doing background checks. The numbers speak for themselves when you're talking generalities. There are always people who take care of their business and others who just don't and the liberal types fall into that category big time. A great percentage of them are younger which plays into that equation though.
