HARRISBURG Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein on Monday continued her campaign to contest the election results in three battleground states, filing suit in Pennsylvania seeking a statewide recount.
Legal papers filed in Commonwealth Court by a lawyer for Steins campaign contend the Nov. 8 election was illegal and the results inaccurate based on research suggesting there might have been irregularities with electronic voting machines, among other evidence.
Petitioners have grave concerns about the integrity of electronic voting machines used in their districts, the suit stated.
Though Mondays petition was filed by 100 Pennsylvania voters, as required by the states election law, it is part of Steins effort to challenge results in three states that were critical to deciding the presidential election.
Steins camp filed a recount petition last week in Wisconsin, and is expected to do so this week Michigan. Clinton lost each of the state by fewer than 100,000 votes. She lost Pennsylvania by about 71,300 votes. As of Monday evening, Stein had raised nearly $6.4 million dollars, covering the costs of recounts in both Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, and is close to her total goal of $7 million goal to cover recount costs in Michigan. But when it comes to the Keystone State, it turns out raising the money might have been the easiest step.
As Stein points out herself in a video posted on Sunday, initiating a statewide recount of Pennsylvanias vote is especially complicated. Unlike Wisconsin, Stein cant simply file a direct request for a recount, leaving just two paths for a potential statewide audit.
Stein's lawsuit would have to present evidence that election fraud was probable in Pennsylvania. Democratic Secretary of State Pedro Cortes says there's no evidence of voting irregularities during the Nov. 8 election Absolutely not, Cortes told reporters.

I think we should start in Philly!
Is there any ‘technicality’ they can pull off?
I always worry that they will do something that requires a response by Trump, and if he doesn’t then he loses on a technicality.
Sort of like losing in small claims court if you don’t answer a filing.
Smoke screen.... Odungo is up to something
She will get rejected!!
Trump should challenge on the ground that she doesn’t have standing.
There is no conceivable way a recount could flip enough votes to make Jill Stein the winner. Hence she does not have standing.
Hillary would. So let’s dispense with the stalking horse.
Make her put her own slimy fingerprints on the effort if that’s what is going on here.
YAWN
Agreed. She does not have anywhere near the number of petitions filed by voters and in numbers of precincts to challenge the results already tabulated that the law requires for a recount and that gives it an even more absurd optic.
Meanwhile the pressure on the electoral college delegates continues unabated !
Liberals like free elections - until they lose.
Then the result is “illegal.” What a knee-slapper! Go figure.
She’s dragging this out so she can claim to her financial supporters that she did everything possible but the system went against her. In other words, she gave it her best shot and came up short. This will allow her to “justify” keeping the money.
Her suits are frivolous and some folks need to start threatening her lawyers with that charge.
She needs THREE certified electors from each of the precincts. This amounts to about 27,000 petitions which must be filed. A story yesterday revealed something I had not known and that is there is a $150 fee assessed to each elector who files a petition. there are reports these petitioners did not know about the fee and walked out when told they had to pay.
Also if WI is charging Stein 3.5 Million dollars to simply re tabulate (not hand count) and they had 3 million votes cast, what will it cost her in PA where 6 million votes were cast?
Who was that guy who jousted Windmills?
What if there were some ‘voting irregularities’ in favor of Trump and they were intentionally put there by the democrats?
Gee, if she loses in court, her party just pockets a few million dollars to ‘live on’ until the next election cycle.

And then they only challenge the votes in the states where they lose.
When they win it was fair; when they lose they were victims of fraud.
Since Obama was not even in the race, what possible input could he have? Voting, vote counting and vote disputes are strictly a States issue.
Michigan was certified yesterday.
Hillary/Stein effort to change the EC be skrod.
