Mika’s Shockingly Scorches Elizabeth Warren: ‘Tired of this Act,’ ‘Shrill, Almost Unhinged’
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 11/29/2016 6:03:47 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

Earlier in this presidential election cycle, Mika Brzezinski was a big Elizabeth Warren booster, repeatedly urging her to throw her hat into the ring. So it was nothing short of stunning to see Brzezinski go on a blistering attack against Warren on today’s Morning Joe.

The segment began with a clip of Warren in essence declaring war on Republicans, claiming Dems had won more presidential and senatorial votes, and that they weren’t intending to “whimper, whine or grovel.” Wondered Mika: “do you lead with anger? . . I am getting tired of this act.” “There’s an anger there that was shrill . . . unmeasured and almost unhinged. It’s not going to work.”

I have noticed Warren’s attitude: She has all power and authority and knowledge and we all must live our lives to please her.

silverleaf :" Warren is a typical stupid patronizing lib female who thinks leadership means being loud and angry and overbearing
I don’t remember Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir being shrill loud and angry"

Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir knew that every action resulted in a consequence, or a reaction
Warren is the typical Liberal/ Progressive shrill mouth that spouts only emotion , rarely any thought or anticipation given to consequence.
She is loud, angry , and overbearing because she is talking to the other libs, and she knows that this will give her additional press coverage.
The best reaction is to totally ignore her; Libs can't stand that, so they lift their voices louder and more shrill
because they can't stand being ignored !
and they think that they have all the answers !

Lizzie is too old to be this angry. She’s going to have a stroke if she keeps it up.

Warren shakes like a bobblehead on crack when she gets going. What an act.

“Why do FReepers need a daily infusion of Morning Joe’s hosts opinions about anything?”

I don’t know who Morning Joe is, or Mika. I can’t bear to listen to people arguing on TV. I do like to know what is going on, but without the hyped intro-music and argumentative talk-over-each-other verbal fights. Apparently, Mika criticizing Warren is like the Pope coming out in favor of abortion. It’s an interesting point and lends perspective to the overall mood of the country.

I generally don’t read the entire liberal screed, but do flash through for the direction and flavor. I’d say the article ads depth to my view of what’s going on.

I would not be surprised if Sen. Warren is the 2020 DNC presidential nominee.

Yes, I expect the DNC to double down on the progressive agenda for 2018 and 2020.

They haven't yet figured out that it's a losing strategy.

Sounds like Mika has seen a bit of the light - the lefty method of excoriating with nothing tangible to offer is not working and serves only to try to create chaos instead of the Nirvana they claim as their goals.

Yes, but she repeats the old, false, narrative of Republicans doing nothing by throwing roadblocks in Obama’s path, when it was just the opposite!

The Republicans repeatedly bowed to Obama’s will!

Most appreciated and helpful response to my original question, which was posted when today's Morning Joe free-publicity-on-FR straw broke the camel's back.

Yes, I also read many FR article reprints and do not post a reply. Not all articles are helpful and I felt the overabundance of interest in Morning Joe articles on FR fit in that category for me. Just one FReeper's opinion -- and I understand I'm in the minority on this thread.

I believe you are correct. The “progressives” have been able to get in power and stay in power because they controlled the information flow in the country. Now they do not. Donald Trump has shown the way to get around the establishment media. Without that information control, the “progressive” have no backup plan.

As Rush says, they have to rely on lies, because if their real plans were known, no one would vote for them.

They have lost the ability to promote their lies to half of the population, and the numbers that they influence continue to drop.

You mention having your system set up to block ‘ ad tracking services ‘. Can you fill me in how how you did that?

There are so many web sites that just will not load on my laptop. Figured what you mention might be the problem. Am using a Toshiba with Firefox as a browser.

Breitbart, Daily Mail are example of sites that just will not load.

...”which was posted when today’s Morning Joe free-publicity-on-FR straw broke the camel’s back. ..”

I sometimes become exhausted from my excessive concern and stress over a particular topic. At times, I will go several days without reading the news or looking on FR because I can feel my tension building. I have been personally affected by Obama’s presidency as it cost me my job, my retirement income and I had to sell all the excess baggage, like two awesome collector cars, to make it to 62. (I never even got a chance to drive my restored Mustang.) I was terrified that Hillary might win and we would end up like Venezuela.

I certainly understand and sympathize with your reaction to that metronomic slap in the face of a hot-button topic. Know that for now, conservatism, at least to some extent, has prevailed. The Democrats have fallen on each other with fangs and claws. Though we must be ever vigilant, we shouldn’t let the vigilance eat a hole in our guts. Have a great day. (Go to Starbucks, order coffee and tell them your name is “Trump.” I understand that’s therapeutic.)

Mika didn't stab Republicans in the back - Romney, Kasich, Ryan and other GOPe's stabbed us in the back.

At least Mika tried to stab in the front.

“Know your enemy”

I know who he is and also know he has been defeated, although he refuses to accept defeat now before gleefully taking a large part of humankind with him to the second death. He also appears as a she sometimes.

I loaded a separate add on from MS for IE11 that allows you to select various ad-tracking blocker lists. It does a good job of that and tells me how many services it has blocked. The problem, however, is that many sites have these services queued in their load ups of their pages and they get blocked by my tracking blocker.

A lot of these sites use Adobe Flash and I’ve had to allow that but it still doesn’t cure the ones that exist of revenue from these leech trackers and eventually what you want to see always get blocked. It’s catch 22 and if you let them load all their crap, then they’ll let you see what you probably could have found on Youtube to start with.

Looking at the faces of the closet Liberals there, the Media RATs are exposing their RAT loyalties. And, they pretend to be objective and neutral. Ha, Ha

At least, Mika “gets it” about shrill and delusional Pocahontas even if it’s for two minutes.
