Maybe the Obama administration does not want Mr Trump to look into places where Dems most likely cheated. Mr Trump just appointed a libertarian leaning election lawyer as his chief counsel. :)
New administration might be WAY ahead of the game.
Why? Because any recount they can’t control will reveal the massive Democrapic vote fraud especially in the D-machine-controlled big cities

It pushes the Clintons aside pretty much for good. They have to be weary of the Clinton pratfalls and exposures. They don’t even seem to try to conceal their corruption.
And, by default, it leaves Obama with the most weight of authority, such as it is.

2. They know nothing will be found and it will further ruin the RAT Party.

Obama might be silently rooting but publicly taking the "high road. Or maybe something really dreadful turned up in those last batch of emails. Something so bad, that Obama would prefer not be revealed until he is out of office. At least then, he can say he only found about it in the newspapers.
They want all the benefits of a recount (possible overturning of the election) minus the negative fallout. They don’t want to be seen as the ones pushing for the recount.
The fact that Barry backed down on TPP and Keystone tells me he knew and accepted that the next President was Trump on November 8. No way he does anything like that if he is in on a plan to overthrow the election.
Considering the extreme steps that were taken to try and stop Trump this year, I don’t put any treachery past the establishment. Obama could be trying to distance himself publicly, but then act surprised when votes are mysteriously found for Hillary.
Maybe he already has a deal with Trump to hang hitlary out as the fall guy.
It's a position that will change when and if presented with indications of voter fraud. I have zero trust in what is happening.
If someone independent starts investigating votes, who did it, who counted it, and actual numbers, a lot of democrats will go to jail. Someone told an airhead someone in the Obama White House that it's best not to turn over that rock. Rahm, in Chicago, DiBlasio, in New York, Cuomo, in Albany, would be lucky if they avoided a noose.

That's the official position but not the actual position. They can look noble since they don't have to do anything while others do the dirty work.
Possibly because it might expose the thousands of dead person votes and lead to investigation that might blow away their popular vote theory.
Probably understands that he and the Dims have much more to lose with this farce than they stand to gain - added scrutiny is never good for them.
He wants them GONE...If Obama wants to be leader of dem party,can’t have Clinton’s and cronies around..
I suspect that the winds of change in DC may have shifted too much for Barry to do otherwise.
