President-elect Donald Trump is considering tapping Fox News analyst Monica Crowley as his press secretary, according to Politico.
Crowley, who is also a regular columnist for the Washington Times, was an early and vocal supporter of Trump. Politico noted that she warned Fox not to underestimate Trump when he launched his presidential bid last year.

Thank you for your comments. I read threads hoping for informative comments such as yours. They’ve become fewer and fewer at FR, unfortunately. But FR is still my favorite.
How about Katrina Pierson.
Laura didn’t want the pay cut. The other thing is that you don’t want to walk away from a good gig and then when it’s time to come back, the network has moved on and that gig is no longer there for you. Think it can’t happen? Rosie O’Donnell thought so, too. Rosie learned a hard lesson: when you jump on the bandwagon, make sure it’s still moving.
I suspect she's heavier than you.
Laura is a devoted single mother. I suspect that was paramount in her thoughts.
I have seen her, smiling, put Imus to the brink of argument, reduced to resting his forehead on his microphone in debate defeat, and still admiring her. just yesterday he was talking her up big.
don’t know how that translates to doing this job.
She’ll be smarter and probably more informed than any of the pathetic WH press corps and able to expose them with a smile. So in my mind she is sure to handle them easily in their daily gaggles.
But with her charm, knowledge, and logic, could she start to open up some minds and win some genuine friends among them as well? I wouldn’t put that past her either.
How about Ann Coulter just to drive the leftist media absolutely freakin’ nuts.
Me too, but...... Laura gave a stem winder at the convention. Perhaps Laura is being saved for better, higher use.
The speech promoted her to preeminence on the Special Report Panel
True!
TOTAL opposite in both intelligence and beauty!
Amazing how the Crowley name is ummm... polarizing.
At first glance I was thinking satire, too.
One more comment..... the woman has had so much work done on her face she is nearly unrecognizable till she speaks. I have very low regard for a woman uncomfortable in her own skin, fashionable or not
Laura Ingrahm would be excellent. But if you teally wanna mess with then, name co-press secretaries Diamond & Silk.
“Oh no you did-n’t just ask that stupid question. March yourself right to the back, Megyn Kelly or Kelly Megyn, or whatever your name is.”
Agreed—Katrina and Andrea lack the brilliance, gravitas and likability of Crowley. Laura at least has the brilliance and gravitas.
Meanwhile, as to Kellyanne, I just heard this disconcerting news on Larry Kudlows show. There is an internal debate now on whether Kellyanne Conway should become the communications director (completely and thoroughly earned by her and her natural position).
Or whether the Bushie/House GOP/Priebus/RNC communications director (the guy responsible for the quadrennial debate-structure sellout to the MSM) gets the position instead.
Couldnt be an easier decisionwhat is Trumps problem here?
Milo IMO is a one-trick pony who gets to be tiring very quickly.
“Where is Laura currently based?”
DC
Attkisson another serious woman who would be a great asset in the right position.
What’s this about?
How could someone possibly not like and respect Monica Crowley?
If I didn’t think the WH press corps deserves a good slapping around, I might agree that it isn’t a good natural fit for Laura.
But still, I think Monica is the one for the position.
What would be horrific IMO would be if they stuck Kellyanne down in that position after giving the GOPe/RNC sellout Sean Spicer the communications director role. That should be Kellyanne’s job!
“Or whether the Bushie/House GOP/Priebus/RNC communications director (the guy responsible for the quadrennial debate-structure sellout to the MSM) gets the position instead.”
I think every potential turd pick that’s been floated has the stench of Priebus. Most have been countered by an opposing Breitbart headline/story.
I hope Bannon is getting more ear time than Priebus.
