WOOLWORTHS has cancelled Christmas in one of its German stores after claiming its only remaining customers are Muslim.
The former high street favourite went bust seven years ago in the UK but still operates 300 stores across Germany.
And a row has broken out after staff at a branch in Dortmund decided not to bother with Christmas decorations, gifts or music this year because it is now essentially a Muslim store.
Shocked locals found out after the Christmas section, which featured decorations, gifts and and festive treats such as chocolate Father Christmases, was removed after just a few days on display.

LOL! I think Vermont Country Store still sells that Tangee lipstick, that was supposed to somehow ‘adapt’ itself to the individual - and always came out a horrific orange color :-)
(Have you seen how much nail polishes cost in the drugstores now? I guess it’s the outcome of making something a big fad; and more power to them. But I’d love it if Somebody would make those nice colognes again :-)

I’m surprised that Woolworth’s, which disappeared from the US decades ago, has stores in Germany. If the Germans pronounce “Woolworth’s” as though it were a German name, it would sound considerably different than it does in English.
And Vanilla Cokes! We kids used to fancy that we were drinking alcohol :-)
..... I wonder if the UK and Europe have actually counted and considered the cost and repercussions of allowing uncontrolled migration into their countries? Answer is .... NO!
..... Liberals seem to have the unusual mental proclivity of rarely, if ever, understanding the concepts of “Cause and Effect” and “Repercussions for Their Actions.” After they do something and the predictable consequences happen ..... They are always taken by surprise ....
.... THEN they proceed to start blaming others for what is happening even though it is a direct and predictable response for what they did. They are never willing to take ANY responsibility for those actions. Even though they caused the problem in the first place! Very curious.
Nah, it’s not curious. “Liberalism is a Mental Disease”.

Here’s the Wiki on Woolworths; interesting that it began to die when it got away from its ‘roots’:

Growing up , one of my older sisters was a waitress at Woolworths at Tysons Corner when she was in high school. Hairnets and all. We never got to eat out so going there and sitting at one of her booths and having dinner out there is memorable. Didn’t know they were still around but sad to hear..:
Soon you’ll only be able to shop at Woolworths if you’re Muslim
Sure.... and you most likely asked for a Maraschino Cherry to garnish it.
And the kids working the counters were called soda jerks because of the soda mixing taps similar to beer taps.
Now the kids behind the counters are mostly flat out plain jerks
I guess the closest thing that we have to them now are the ‘dollar stores’ - but not at all the same.
No Cleric Ken? Does ‘Jihad Jane’ come with a small cache of razors to perform a cliteradectomy?
We didn’t have to ask for the cherry on top - it came gratis ;-)
Yes, the price of nail polish has gotten outrageous. I don’t have time to primp anyhow.
For the gals, guys did not get the cherry unless they asked. Which of course led to razzing by his cohort for the rest of the day.

Me neither, and even when Avon has a color I like, they promptly discontinue it - same thing with lipstick colors, and everything else.
I guess that now, it’s all about creating new trends, and sucking up the bucks as long as the short-lived trend lasts.
LOL! I didn’t know that.
My first experience with those candied cherries was in a bar, in NE DC - my Dad took me with him to his favorite bar, and they put a cherry in my little soda. I was probably five years old, and after that, I just expected the cherry; and it was always there :-)
I worked at Woolworth’s in Boston 1948-—1950-—part time,as a highschooler.
Gene Autry’s “Rudolph the Red Nosed reindeer” came out then,at Christmastime, and they played it CONSTANTLY to hype the 45s that they were selling.
I’d work for 10 hours on Saturday and IT NEVER STOPPED.
I’ve hated the song since then.

Deutsche Woolworth GmbH & Company OHG is a chain of department stores in Germany, Austria and a former subsidiary of the American F. W. Woolworth Company.
It was one store in a city with a lot of muslims and nobody was buying Christmas items.
