Cops busted a Queens man for trying to push a straphanger onto the subway tracks in Harlem and yelling, I hate white people!
Police cuffed Gary Weeks, 51, of Wavecrest for the bizarre attack Monday at 2 p.m. at the 4-5-6 subway station at 125th St. and Lexington Ave., officials said.
The straphanger was waiting for a northbound train when Weeks walked up to him and tried to push him onto the tracks.
The victim got away from Weeks, as other people started pointing and yelling at the attacker to simmer down.
He then began yelling about his hatred for whites.
Once cops closed in and cuffed him, he spit on one officer, police said.
Weeks was charged with attempted murder, aggravated harassment and obstruction of government administration.
The problem is that some crazy African-Americans have declared war on white people and the police. Last year it was the knock-out punch that killed a 62 year old man here and now it is the deadly train track murders. Our president ignores this, our mayor seems to think its justified and the rest of us are bewildered.
And it’s not just NY so I don’t want to hear from Texans.
I travel in the subway a sometimes. Some people in the subway are crazy, and crazy as hell. Last week, a homeless woman screamed at a commuter for refusing to hand her a dollar in Brooklyn. Crazy times.
I know, I know. DeBlasio, that creep, that cretin, that fool, has encouraged these freaks. But the people voted for him and the people must be punished.
Yes, that’s what I’m hearing.
The Daily News eggs those leftist haters on with its unbalanced “news”.
Sorry, I didn’t see you already got 116 replies to it. I need to read the WHOLE thread, more often. Heh.
*snicker*
There’s nothing wrong with learning a new language. I thought I was fluent in Spanish, but I just learned that “llama” means “flame,” as well as “llama” (and “call”). The song my choir is doing on Sunday begins, “Today a flame is kindled,” not “Today we set a llama on fire.”
LOL!
I had 8yrs of Latin and a year of Classical Greek, so to me it’s a smelly, ill-tempered fur coat. Stay upwind if you get near one.
Interestingly, when my co-leader, who is from Mexico, introduced the song, the only people who associated “llama” with the Andean quadruped were me and the Ecuadorian sisters, Ruth and Rocio. The other Mexicans heard “flame,” and the Puerto Ricans heard “call.”
Homonyms ... the bane of human language.
I took the subway from Queens to CCNY in the early 70s. Things were pretty bad. Giuliani cleaned things up tremendously. Then after him, it got progressively bad again.
8 years of obama and zero progress on race relations.
That’s what I thought of too or mud flaps.
Yikes! That’s kinda condescending
From the headline I assumed the victim’s name was Straphanger.
“so to me its a smelly, ill-tempered fur coat”
My son took four years of Latin and Spanish - he said the two were very similar. (He knew Latin first, never studied his Spanish and got straight A’s). So which came first? The Llama or the smelly fur coat?!
He was probably seen smelling his underarm - an indication he would have it open due to hanging on a strap....
Northbound @ 125th street? There won’t be any seats.
The buses still have straps.
THAT’S NOT TRUE.
Negative progress is progress, technically speaking.
