It’s very difficult if not downright impossible for a foreign student to overstay a visa. The F1 student visa is directly connected to full-time status as a student and the intl student offices on campus keep a close track.
It like the rest of the immigration system - illegals commit crimes and benefit - those who come here legally and follow the law pay the price (literally for nonsense such as DACA, DREAM, etc)
Disagree. All you’d have to do is get in a car and drive away somewhere.
There is no such thing as an “undocumented” immigrant.
There are illegal aliens and there are immigrants.
Illegal immigration is a crime, enforce the laws on the books. Jail Michael Roth for aiding and abetting.
My late father, a graduate of Colgate University (WW2 GI Bill) in NY said this. Colgate was still a men’s school when he went there in the 40s. He gave to the alumni association for many years. When it went coed, he stopped. He said that men and women should be able to go to a single sex school if they want to.
I say let them flood into the campuses... Let them do it! then after all the rapes let them handle that as well... let em do it and turn our backs to them!
500% increase in tuition.
I’m MUCH younger than your father, but he was correct and a VERY intelligent man.

Ok, and what does the student do after that? There’s no way that e-verify can be ignored. once you’re in the system, very difficult to get out - unless you’re illegal to start with.
Visa abuse does happen with visitor visas - like the Chinese do with anchor pregnancies & also false “marriage” green cards. Abuse with student visas is very minimal.
If you notice the rhetoric from universities, they are all talking about their illegal snowflakes - not f1 visa overstays.
A native of Brooklyn, Roth was the second in his family to attend college. He graduated from Wesleyan in 1978, completing his studies in three years[2] and graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. While there, he was a member and eventual president of the Alpha Delta Phi Society; he designed his own major in the history of psychological theory. He later went to earn his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1984.[3][1] Roth teaches every semester and, in May 2009, was appointed University Professor at Wesleyan.[4]
Roth is Jewish.[5]
