Pretty good ... I’d prefer to take fuller advantage of his medical expertise as Surgeon General, etc.
And then put someone in charge of HUD who can help President Trump ‘right size’ the department

HUD is a dense bureaucracy and housing is a very complex subject.
Ben Carson would be clueless there—it would be a big mistake.
Trump knows lots and lots of folks with expertise in the field—he needs to go there.
He would make a much better free safety

Why would Trump pick Carson? CNN has told me multiple times that Trump is a racist.
I have a feeling he didn't want to be surgeon general of the US. Which is the logical first choice Trump offered. That is my guess though.

He said yesterday he would serve if asked.
If Trump asked him—Dr. Carson would say yes. Heck If President-Elect Trump asked any of us on FR to do something 90% of us would say yes. I am sure 30% of us on FR would take a bullet for him. Dr. Carson would do a great job at anything he tries.
