Tuesday on MSNBCs Morning Joe, Trump spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway confirmed the shows earlier report that the incoming Trump administration will not pursue charges against his general election opponent Hillary Clinton for her use of an unauthorized email server while secretary of state and on any of the alleged wrongdoing involving her and her familys charitable organization the Clinton Foundation.
According to Conway, Clinton still faces a challenge in rebuilding her own image and suggested this was part of Trump helping the former first lady heal."

...or maybe Trump lied about going after her in the first place.
(The answer that requires the fewest assumptions is usually the correct one)
It's not "my righteousness" but our precious rule of law that is at stake.
You may be willing to cast aside the rule of law in a hopeless attempt to pander to the left, but I will prefer to stand in the way holding fast to the rule of law in my "righteousness.".
Some of you are killing me.
Think about this for the Freepers confused...
First President Trump is not in office.
If President Trump would come out saying he will prosecute Hillary, then Obama could pardon her before Trump gets into office.
All you need to understand is that President Trump will let the new AG figure that out. Look who he appointed as his AG. That should tell you everything.
It’s nonsense based upon a hypothetical. 3/4 of REPUBLICAN voters rejected Lying Ted. Nationally, he would have been as popular as Malaria.
THE BAZAAR IS OPEN
It’s pathetic to read posts from Freepers who actually believe that the Trump administration will be incapable of doing more than three things at a time.
And 60+% of Pubbies rejected Trump. Point?
Who is lying now?
Whether PE Trump wants this is not so relevant in the grand scheme. What AG Sessions wants on the other hand....
Will say that this gives credence to lame cherry’s info the day after the election.
Actually continuing to be vague about this favors Trump. It assures the Hag and Bill are going to shut their mouths about Trump or risk him turning Sessions loose on her and the Crime Family Foundation. I don’t know if the leverage he has on the Clinton’s translates to leverage on that evil bastard Soros.
“...or maybe Trump lied...”
ESAD, asshole. Don’t ever speak to me again.
Such a fool.
Trump is not even President yet. Obama is President for two more months. That DOJ & FBI found nothing to prosecute. No grand jury called.
If Sessions gets approved, he will have his hands full cleaning up that corrupt agency. Clinton Foundation only investigation moving forward.
Crazy leftist fascist media is dead set on dividing us. Misrepresentations all over. He recently dressed them down.
And you thought the hard part was getting our nominee elected.
It is war, now. Must be more loyal to Trump from this point forward.
Common now. I have see you write better posts.
A year from now if we are in the same boat, then I will reexamine this.
President Trump can’t just show all his cards. So take this with a grain of salt.
See post #123
I suspect Trump is calling Obama's bluff with regard to the pardon. Almost certainly Obama would pardon her if the Trump Administration vowed to prosecute her. Now he's in a tight spot. Genius move.
This is my thought as well. It hopefully freezes Obama from issuing a peremptory pardon to Clinton.
The fact that he did say he'd have a special prosecutor look into things still more or less holds in that he wouldn't pursue it if one parses the statement using clintonesqe wordsmithing. However having the new AG to oversee things still seems to fit into the overall plan.
I hope this is the path as otherwise the the approach of "one set of laws for everyone" will seem to have been pushed aside. At least for now.
The Congressional Republicans will do it for him — and the Clinton Foundation investigation is still open, isn’t it? What if Comey finds something in that investigation? Does Attorney General Sessions squelch it? Does anyone think that’s likely?
He can’t order the FBI and the DOJ to ignore the law unless he wants to be just like a Democrat.
And you called me "such a fool"?
Your entire reply is a triumph of the non sequitur.
I have been saying to you Trump supporters all through the nomination process, "ship of fools."
He’s not President yet.
My initial reply on this thread was predicated on the assumption that the headline is true, that Trump will not prosecute Hillary.
It should not be necessary for me to repeat that condition precedent on every reply in this thread.
