Let me guess...a “friend” will have told him that the nominee (regardless of who he or she might be) has been molesting little transgendered boys and girls for ten years.

If Mitch McConnell plays the Dems game, he will get rid of the filibuster. Reid did it. But the Repubs are afraid of pissing off the media.

I suggest we inundate them with calls and emails. I ‘d love to say ‘march’ on their offices but heck we all have jobs far more important than our Nation’s affairs, right?

What the hell is a filibuster these days anyways??? Enough with the threat of a filibuster shutting things down. If they want to filibuster, make 'em talk dammit! Do it the way it was supposed to be done. Then after a couple days of nonsense, congress gets to vote.

In other words, nominate who we want and we’ll make life miserable for them. And we might turn them down.
Nominate who Trump wants and they’ll burn the country down.
Somebody remind Amy’s uncle that the last time the D emocrats were this angry, we still had slavery and The War of Yankee Agression began.

Our nominee will be as mainstream as the wise Latina. Mainstream from our perspective means a constitutional scholar.

They can stop with the stupidity regarding the rules. There is no filibuster. The current agreement substitutes cloture for filibuster. Republicans could nip this in the butt if instead of cloture, they required an actual filibuster for SC Justice nominees. So a couple of days would be wasted with some nitwit gabbing. Eventually they tire and the vote can be held.

It will be interesting to see if congressional republicans will timidly allow the democrat minority to rule (as they historically have), or if Trump can motivate and lead them.

To be honest, we really don't know who Trump might nominate as a SC Justice. Although he undoubtedly knows a few judges, does he know enough about them to say how well any of them supports the Constitution? Does he really know who "originalists" are?
I'm not saying he has a shortcoming in this area. Like many subjects, I expect he'll rely on advisers in his inner circle. Just out of curiosity, who might be advising Trump on legal matters, including SC picks?

Let them keep it up... They have to try to spin reality, but haven’t realized their spin isn’t working any longer... reality is crashing down on them.. .more they keep pretending it didn’t the worse their crushing in the future will be.
