Good. Should help cut the federal deficit. Cut them off.

In fact, the city will reject federal aid that comes with objectionable “strings attached,” such as requiring local cops to turn over people they learn are here illegally, an action that, as a sanctuary city, New York won’t allow, he said.

Donald Trump. Saving taxpayers' money before he even takes office.

NY can remain a “sanctuary city” as long as the people of New York are willing to pay for the shortfall.

Next year or even earlier, when the illegals come to really believe Trump will deport them, they will go home or and flood these elite sanctuary cities. Those, who go back to Mexico early, will have the best choices of housing and jobs. Those who wait will have no good choices in Mexico. So they will run to the elite sanctuary cities.

Let them flood these elite sanctuary cities.

On Trump’s first day in office stop every federal tax $ from going to these elite sanctuary cities.

Then, Trump’s new AG will enforce E Verification in every state/city in America. Any employer with illegals will face big fines and possible jail sentences.

Then, stand back and watch the elite rats get eaten up the less elite rats in their city and by the hordes of illegals in their cities fighting over a dwindling supply of housing, food and services.

Later, in a few weeks/months, those mayors if still in office or alive, will be meeting with Trump’s people behind closed doors to work out massive deportation of their former voting buddies, the illegals. They will have identified their illegals and be willing to pay for their transportation to Mexico.

Send Federal Marshals into these cities to arrest these city officials as accessories to crimes.

Each state needs to deport their criminal illegal aliens to New Yawk where they can be “protected” from “Trump supporters” by diaper pin boy, de Blasio.

Let those liberal elitists pony up to support their welfare-sucking illegals! I’m betting that a Trump Administration will find a way to enforce immigration law, regardless.

SEDITION. Mayor de Blasio is an enemy of the state.

“the city will reject federal aid”
More tough talk from butt sore progressives. They will fold like lawn chairs.

“That may be a choice we have to make,” de Blasio told WNYC’s Brian Lehrer.

I understood that laws are supposed to be upheld, not broken. de Blasio should be arrested and charged with insurrection. ASAP.

Enforce the law or contribute to a lowering of the deficit. One way or the other, it's a win.

Is there anyone left in NY city that can stand up to this piece of garbage?

We used to live in a sanctuary city. Only because we were fortunate enough to be able to live in a nice gated community with guards.

A sanctuary city is exactly how you imagine it would be. Awful.

We fled SoCal to get away from that and the nutty policies. Best thing we ever did.

Setting an example and precedent, city mayors can now pick and choose federal laws that they’re willing to follow. NYC voters picked a real winnah for mayor.

But isn’t it great to hear these progressives talking about nullification and interposition? How else are you going to get De Blasio to channel John Calhoun?

Is this comparable to states claiming they wouldn’t take stimulus and then they took stimulus?

Another good reason to not live in NYC. If Fed funds get cut, DiBlasio will just raise taxes to make up the difference.
