We used to live in a sanctuary city. Only because we were fortunate enough to be able to live in a nice gated community with guards.
A sanctuary city is exactly how you imagine it would be. Awful.
We fled SoCal to get away from that and the nutty policies. Best thing we ever did.
No mayor worth his salt would be willing to accept that responsibility.
I worked up in MA a few years ago, and I convinced my wife to move to FL, and trust me it was the best move we have done too.
