HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (AP) — A leading Republican voice on national security matters said Saturday he doesn’t care what President-elect Donald Trump says, the United States will not reinstate waterboarding.
Sen. John McCain of Arizona, chairman of the Armed Services Committee, said at the Halifax International Security Forum that any attempt to bring back harsh interrogation techniques such as waterboarding, which simulates drowning, would quickly be challenged in court.
“I don’t give a damn what the president of the United States wants to do or anybody else wants to do. We will not waterboard. We will not do it,” McCain said to applause during a panel discussion.

The question that picture raised to me when considering all that we do know about Benghazi is what in the hell is the Ambassador to Llbya doing with MCCain meeting with the Syrian “Rebels” with whom we now know one of the parties is the leader of ISIS? You know, the same “Rebels” that McCain, Clinton and Obama were doing everything in their power to arm.
To me, McCain is now desperate to change the topic to one he thinks he can win. The biggest problem is he is totally unaware that real patriots are still manning the trenches of the intelligence community and all hell is going to break open on this charlatan really soon. Say in 61 days.

We did our best but you know he has massive support from California voters and people who should not even be voting. Why else do you think Obama made such an effort to shut down our effort to protect the border? Our governor even confronted Obama at the airport over it but he brought brought down every tool he had to crush us.
LAKEVILLE, Minnesota (CNN) - John McCain heard boos at a town hall meeting Friday night after the Republican presidential nominee called for the crowd to be more respectful towards rival Barack Obama.
“We would like you to remain a true American hero,” an elderly military veteran told him. “We want you to fight.”
“I will fight, but we will be respectful,” McCain said. “I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments and I will respect him.”
When the crowd began to boo, McCain told them “No, no. I want everyone to be respectful.”
