VP-elect Mike Pence booed at ‘Hamilton’ [Low Class Broadway Cast and Audience]

Vice President-elect Mike Pence was booed Friday night at a performance of the Broadway hit “Hamilton.” Pence was walking to his seat at the Richard Rodgers Theatre when a few scattered claps turned into a thundering chorus of boos.

The crowd continued to mock Pence throughout the performance, including during the song “Yorktown,” when Alexander Hamilton and Marquis de Lafayette sang “Immigrants, we get the job done.” They high-fived each other as the audience cheered.

Brandon Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr, addressed Pence after the curtain call, saying the diverse cast is “anxious” about his administration.

Regardless of the affecct it has on the Leftist entertainment industry, Samtheman’s advice for parenting is very good. Go to an amusement park or museum and you can always pick out the homeschool kids in a a matter of seconds. They’re well behaved. They have an real attention span. They read the exhibits. The aren’t scurrying from thing to thing randomly pounding on any button for electronic feedback.

When I first saw the previews of Hamilton all I could think of was leftist, revisionistic crap.

No one should be fooled by this drivel. It was almost as bad when we toured Washington DC earlier this year. Both at Monitcello and Mt. Vernon, the tour guides droned on about the pooooooor, piiiiiitiful enslaved people.

Seems they had it pretty good. Many received a free ticket to Paris to learn the culinary arts and dined off of fine china.

It was cognitive dissonance reading the actual information on the placards before the exhibits, then listening to the left-bots with their “evil white man” narrative.

Anyone who wasn’t skilled in critical thinking would have taken the tour guides at face value.

Trump needs to buy a block of 1000 seats and give them to his supporters to attend wearing MAGA ball caps to let them voice their opinion of the Hamilton cast, as they did to the press pool at each Trump rally. Boo these snowflakes off the stage and they’ll all need therapy for 6 months.

I love that tweet. Unfortunately, it may not have a huge $$$ effect on that show...but other shows could feel a boycott effect. It is very difficult to get a long standing hit on Broadway.

It occurs to me that perhaps our elected officials at that high rank should have Secret Service agents backstage at events as well as around them. This obviously was a buzz going on and prepared during the performance and probably would’ve been averted.

Hamilton is the darling of the Broadway crowd currently.

The Broadway crowd would certainly not be the darling of Alexander Hamilton if he were alive today.

But Pence and his people should never have put themselves in a position to be publicly embarrassed like this in the first place. A New York theater crowd is rude and hostile to a Republican politician - gee, who could have ever imagined that? What next, a Republican politician gets booed at a Hollywood party?

Republicans need to wake up to the fact that the mainstream entertainment industry in this country is overwhelmingly hostile to them and to conservatism in general - the appropriate response is not to seek acceptance and provide tax breaks to Hollywood, but to call out the obvious left-wing bias in popular entertainment in this country and demand that it be changed.
