Bannon: We could govern for 50 years (Trump aims for MAGA landslide w/40% of black vote by 2020)
Times of Israel ^

Posted on 11/19/2016 6:05:14 AM PST by quesney

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bannon said if Trump’s White House delivers, “we’ll get 60 percent of the white vote, and 40% of the black and Hispanic vote and we’ll govern for 50 years.”

Democrats, he claimed, had “lost sight of what the world is about…the issue now is Americans looking to not get f—ed over.”

Bannon rose to immense political power by orchestrating Trump’s stunning White House victory, an accomplishment he suggested Friday puts him in the company of ex-vice president Dick Cheney, Darth Vader — and even the devil himself.

Both parties have forgotten the people of this nation.

Dems have gone all in for killing babies then importing Hispanics and now Muslims to make up for all the future voters they killed off. So blacks and other poor Americans get a double whammy.

Then democrats conspire to make black’s lives all the worse, knowing the worse it gets the easier it is to sell themselves as their saviors. But they never do anything to actually help blacks.

This is their achille’s heal.

Similarly, union leaders have been supporting globalist immigration policies that harm their members.

Trump created a crack in the democratic wall and reached these two groups to win the election.

He also rendered the media impotent, partially through their own rabid, overly vicious attacks on him and those who voted for him. But also because he refused to cower in the face of their disapproval they way every republican has for thirty years.

That is how you win elections, and how you erode their support. If it hadn’t been for George H. W. Bush’s capitulation during his term, the democratic party could have been forced to realign to sanity thirty years ago.

Abortion, homosexuality, budget deficits, and criminal behavior (illegal immigration) are not campaign strategies. They are weaknesses waiting to be exploited.

He’s using the Trump tactic. Remember how boastful Trunp was? Art of the Deal.

Sounds good - no more encouragement/prodding for you to let loose with a happy thought or two that you aren't feeling. I can fully relate to putting ultimate trust and faith in God, but it's nice to feel like a fellow human may be trustworthy. My nature makes it hard for me to get too enthusiastic about much of anything so when I find it happening, I bask with it.

God Bless.

"if Trump’s White House delivers"

Hopefully, this does not mean using government as Santa to buy votes.

Exactly what I was thinking.

OTOH, I think what the Democrats and the Uniparty members fear most is a level playing field because:

1. They won’t be able to steal from the taxpayers and line their pockets with bribes and corruption.
2. Blacks and other minorities will find out that the Democrats did NOTHING for them. They just lied about giving them free stuff and delivered very, very little. (And they never cared about minorities except as a source of votes.)

10-4. But you CAN celebrate a 1st quarter TD, right?

I have to agree with the other poster. I don’t want conservative to be hypocrites like the liberals are. Let’s walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

After 0vomit won, the Democrats were gleeful - as gleeful as we are now. They thought they would be in charge forever and they were NOT gracious. They were nasty and boastful and obnoxious. I think we are better than that.

Do I think Republicans could govern for 50 years? Unlikely. Voters are fickle. And stupid. But I do think they can put things in play now that will influence the direction of this country for the next 50 years. (SCOTUS is a big one.) I think when Republicans deliver the goods, it might make some people reconsider their future votes. Sadly, there will always be the deadbeat voter who votes for “free stuff for me, paid for by someone else”. I believe even those will be fewer in number if Trump and the rest of the conservatives govern wisely.

Yes, good stuff is happening already. I am delighted with most of it. But it is good stuff only in the eyes of conservatives like you and me. As far as liberal voters are concerned bad stuff is happening. They need to see (and “feel”) the good stuff. That will take a while.

I understand, but it’s hard to fight simultaneous battles on too many fronts.

Sure, and I like the direction this is heading. I’m just not into excessive celebration.

I’ve said for years Reagan’s biggest mistake was Bush. Recently I’ve read that the establishment gave him an ultimatum of Bush for their support, so he did not select the conservative he wanted.

Bush never intended to keep Reagan’s great vision, he’d been a NWO RINO from birth.

That’s another great thing with Trump. He chose who he wanted. Pence has a 100% rating from ACU. No sign of NWO RINO leanings that I’ve seen.

Wonder how different the world would be if Reagan ditched Bush for a true conservative for his second term....

Wonder how different the world would be if Reagan ditched Bush for a true conservative for his second term....

Let's play...

What would the world be like today if Reagan's successor had been Reagan's choice?

What would the world be like today had Goldwater defeated Johnson in 1964?

In either case, one can envision a far better world.

I'm confused by this. This election exit polls(Not sure how accurate they are) says he got 9% of the black vote one point more then Obama.

Are the polls wrong or what am I missing here? How is he going to get 40%?

When they beat up that white Trump and dragged him down the street with his own car. The lady kept saying, "who is going to feed my kid now" as they hit him. This is clearly a deep rooted unsubstantiated fear. how is he going to get past that?

Even a low level manager knows there is no such thing as private electronic communications. Anything you put out on email or social media has potential to be seen by the whole world.

How could a CEO like him know anything like that?

It's not like he worked in cyber security or anything like that...Oh that's his job huh?

Backlash should never be seen in hindsight. These people would've been some of the first to be thrown off of buildings if Hillary/Huma Obama/Jarrett were able to finish their mission to turn the USA into an Islamic State Caliphate
