Fashion designer Sophie Theallet is urging her colleagues in couture to follow her example by refusing to dress the future first lady Melania Trump.
As one who celebrates and strives for diversity, individual freedom and respect for all lifestyles, I will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next First Lady, Theallet wrote, reports Elle. The rhetoric of racism, sexism, and xenophobia unleashed by her husbands presidential campaign are incompatible with the shared values we live by. I encourage my fellow designers to do the same.

So.... she has designers fly in from Paris to dress her. What a non-story.

So all you designers, get in lockstep with me!
Gene Simmons’ daughter Sophie is a designer...so maybe..
WTF??? Is that from the opening scene of a “Criminal Minds” episode?

Bump
You beat me to it. Michelle’s clothes were designed by these people?? ‘Case closed’ is right on!!
LOL!
How stupid. She doesn’t need anyone to dress her. She can hire her own stylist and pay for what she needs. She doesn’t have to beg like Michelle Obama and she doesn’t need a tent maker like Hillary.
That looks like my grandma’s sofa ...
And that’s just butt-ugly!
Looks kind of like a Cuban dancer costume. Though I don’t know why you would bare the midriff and then hide it with a ruffle?
*snort*

You have to see it to believe it.
The more they out themselves by showing their hate, the more resolved sane people become in ridding ourselves of these insufferable pests from our lives and from our country.
If we do not, they will (and are, even as we speak) re-grouping for yet more assaults on us, literally, and on our beliefs and way of life.
I’m waiting for the Wig makers Statement.
