A month or so ago on Mittens Twiter: "Mitt Romney ‏@MittRomney Oct 7 Hitting on married women? Condoning assault? Such vile degradations demean our wives and daughters and corrupt America's face to the world."

Really think Nothing But Crap, the most rabidly anti Trump network next to CNN, has any clue what is going on in Trump tower?

Romney is going to work along side Trump’s cabinet of deplorables and outsiders? yeah, I don’t see that working too well.

So much for draining the swamp. Romney is a bona fide walking bayou.

I trust Trump.

If he is eyeing Romney for it, he has a damn good reason to do so.

I will only believe it when I hear it from Trump himself.

I don’t see Romney as being qualified for SOS. He is probably better suited for Sec of Commerce.

However, he is a GOPe member and I can’t see Trump making him part of his administration

I just watched a video on you tube with Roger Stone. He said any names you hear in the press are probably not being considered for a position. Only Trump knows who he wants in these positions - the transition team has its list, and Trump has his.

I’d rather see Yeb as Sec of State than Romney. At least he’d be 2nd from the bottom of the list.

Trump doesn’t hold grudges. If he thought Romney was the best man for the job, he’d hire him. But he would be wrong in this case.

How many potential SOS's does this make?

Four?

Trump is hiring those snakes he read about on the campaign trail. You know the one that says “you knew who I was’ and you took me anyway. Why is he doing that—if it’s true. Can’t believe anything the media reports.

He’ll get a Participation Trophy LOL!

EVERYBODY wants Trump to say that person is there to be considered for SOS LOL!
And why not? It costs Trump nothing.

Indeed. Trump may have given Mitt the opportunity to earn some good will by playing along in misdirecting the MSM, though. We'll soon see.

So, was Mitt wrong? Trump did not defend his remarks. He apologized.
