Complete Headline: The face of defeat: A weary-looking Hillary Clinton makes her first appearance since her concession and admits that 'coming here wasn't the easiest thing for me' and she wanted to 'never leave the house again'
- Hillary Clinton attended the Children's Defense Fund's gala in Washington, D.C on Wednesday evening
- It was the failed presidential candidate's first public appearance since she conceded to Donald Trump a week ago
- She considered cancelling her speech, saying she 'wanted to curl up with a book or our dogs and never leave the house again'
- Said she drew inspiration from the organization's founder and her mentor Marian Wright Edelman, who introduced tonight as the 'people's president'
- Clinton also talked about her mother, Dorothy, who died before her daughter became the Democratic nominee for president
- She tip-toed around her opponent as she delivered her address blocks away from his recently opened hotel and his new home
- Donald Trump did not come up, though she appeared to make reference to him when she speculated about the nation's 'uncertain future'
A weary-looking Hillary Clinton said Wednesday evening at her first public appearance since she conceded to Donald Trump that she considered cancelling her speech to the children's advocacy group but kept the commitment out of respect for her mentor.
'I will admit coming here tonight wasn't the easiest thing for me,' she said at the Children's Defense Fund's gala in Washington, D.C.
The failed presidential candidate said 'there have been a few times this past week when all I wanted to do is just to curl up with a good book or our dogs and never leave the house again.'

I doubt they’ll ever run her again -
she lost it all - including the NWO - for them all.
She s no longer any use to any of them.
She knows what happens when you are a liability...must be afraid to sleep (Karma about to catch up?)

Insincere hag. Hillary acts like someone stole her crown. Ha! She DID mention how she won over 62 million votes, so in her eyes and her supporters', her crown was stolen. Cry me a river!

Her problem isn’t defeat at the polls, its that she and her co-conspirators are facing massive prison terms.

She deliberately chose not to get her hair done, or wear make-up to promote the image of her once again being a victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy. As in, Comey threw her under the bus? Well, a bus didn't do that to her face, it's the face without the make-up for sure!

I am ok with her losing all of her money and spending the rest of her life in prison. I'm sure her phone rang all night from despots, tyrants and Middle Eastern sheikhs demanding their money back. That night would make such a classic Hollywood comeuppance scene and it's a shame liberal Hollywood would never dare let us see it.
"We're ruined, Bill!," she shrieked. "ROOOO-INNNED!!"

Wow, she is lookin’ rough. Election night aged her about 10 years in as many hours. The GOP needs to keep up the prosecutorial scare so as to ensure her stress levels remain elevated for the remainder of her natural life.

I’m not going to put her down at this point since she has quite a lot to have to face. I don’t envy her. But I will offer a piece of someone else’s wisdom:
Pride goes before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction.
It’s something we all have to guard ourselves from; ie pride and a haughty spirit. The result is inevitable.

Never underestimate the Clintons. She will be 73 in 2020, one year younger than Trump. Hillary does best when she is the “victim”.

I'm not one to gloat or pile on, but this person, if you can call it that was deficient in every sense having fallen into criminality because of severe arrogance and megalomania.
I do not know her but it was obvious she was self-inflated and frankly not as smart as she thought herself to be.
But ignoring every lie, every insult to our collective intelligence, every evil smirk, and so on, ignoring all of it but the one thing that mattered this last year and a half, that thing being her campaign purpose, what was it? "Stronger together"? "I'm with her"?
What moved more than 50 million or perhaps only 40 million or so adjusting for voting fraud. to vote for this person? Hatred of Republicans? That would be fair but hardly a positive argument for Clinton. Insert any democrat into Clinton's place and there is an automatic 25 or 35 million vote because the democrat is not a republican.
What was the essence of this person's message other than she was not a republican?
Here is the only answer to that question that seems to fit:
