A Rutgers University professor who created a "politicizing Beyonce" course was taken to a New York City hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after campus police said he made threats to kill white people.
The NYPD said that officers took Kevin Allred to Bellevue Hospital for evaluation after being contacted by the Rutgers Police Department about the threats. He was subsequently released.
A spokesman for Rutgers said that campus police responded to a student's complaint.
Allred, who has been prolific on Twitter since President-elect Donald Trump won the race for the White House earlier this week, said that he was forced to go to the hospital because of rhetorical political statements, not threats.

...”of rhetorical political statements, not threats.”
The left has always had a problem differentiating the two.
Indeed.
This will be swept under the rug.
Why didn’t they just leave him in Rutgers? Its a lunatic asylum to begin with.
After a brief investigation, he'll:
a) admit he was joking
b) claim temporary insanity due to Trump's election
c) claim his "abduction" was a white supremacist act ordered by Donald Trump and the KKK
d) be lauded as a liberal icon for doing his part to promote equality between the races.
Poor guy. He is covered in tats. He’s being poisoned by the ink. He needs medical help.
ECCE HOMO... literally.

That’s a professor?
God help us.
Unless they fire this lunatic creep, just say no to Rutgers.
This is what happens when you hire lunatics as teachers.
This guy is really out there!
I was worried dropping out of Politicizing Beyonce was going to hurt my career path . . .
Note the BA & MA ... American Studies - code word for “don’t know crap, got enough credits for General Studies, paid all my fees and they had to give me something for 12 years of attendance”.
That’s the guy? He looks pretty white to me. Also, mmm, how can I say this? NOT Tweedy.
Is his picture in the brochure?
.
Some rhetoric comes out of the barrel of a gun these days.
Words just don’t mean what they used to.

Quadrilateral dis-articulation might be a good start.
