In the Spring of 2019, Californians will go to the polls in a historic vote to decide by referendum if California should exit the Union, a #Calexit vote.
You will have this historic opportunity because the Yes California Independence Campaign will qualify a citizens initiative for the 2018 ballot that if passed would call for a special election for Californians to vote for or against the independence of California from the United States.
This is a very important question. It is the responsibility of this campaign to explain what a yes vote will mean for you, your family, your community, our state, our country, and our world. We have designed this website to answer many of these questions and look to you to ask more.

After they Calexit or whatever. Can we invade them?
That’s what I’d do. From the military bases there. The US Government owns a lot of California.

If CalExit, then the Democrats would likely never win another major national election. So YES, lets help them out.

The Constitution is a contract among the States. The fed gov was created by this contract, and hence is not a party to it.

Hawaii would probably join the left coast, Alaska would probably go independent instead of joining Canada. The problem, if there really is a massive fracturing -- who gets the nukes? Who gets the ships, planes, tanks? Do members of the military who are from, say Alaska, get to (or have to) be discharged if Alaska becomes independent? Would whichever chunk DC is in (which would invariably be a leftist chunk) retain control of the military hardware?
You can bet that the leftists, for all their pacifist bullshit, will demand control of the military power so they could intimidate, even attack, the conservative middle portion.

Thats what Id do. From the military bases there. The US Government owns a lot of California.
Then they can be a territory, like Guam, or Puerto Rico.

This is actually pretty humorous. For a number of reasons. Conservatives would be happy to see them go but the Rats would have a fit. It would take another two generations to restock demographics. I am sure North California would exit the exit and return.

I sort of had a thought of a later day Sherman marching form L.A. to San Francisco. I made me smile.

But for this to happen, they would have to win the war.
We’ll just nuke ‘em and declare victory. ;-)

They don’t even provide their own electricity. They will be modern pioneers trying to figure out how to live without it.

Kalifonia apparently hasnt read the history of the 19th century. Precisely, if utterly unsurprising.

One worries that (given the committed leftism and incompetence within the Cali legislature) that the once Golden State would turn into Venezuela overnight. Human suffering could be significant. Not a good thing. Then Arizona would have to deal with a flood of illegal immigrants from the west as well as the south. At least it would be conservatives fleeing, not freeloading liberals.

Four years after the Civil War, the “Texas v. White” Supreme Court ruling of 1869 established that no state can ever secede from the union without the unanimous consent of all other states.

All we have to do is build wall, deport illegals & anchor families, withhold funding for sanctuary cities and snowflake campuses, endorse law and in 8 yrs, California should be back on right track
