Eric Trump And Wife Encounter Group Of Hecklers In Manhattan After Dinner With Friends

Amid nationwide protests and widespread social-media threats aimed at Presidential-elect Donald Trump and his supporters after this week’s election, one report detailed the type of treatment the brash billionaire’s son and daughter-in-law received upon leaving a New York City restaurant this week.

The New York Post’s Page Six reported Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Yunaska, met some friends at Quality Italian, a Manhattan restaurant, around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Following the celebratory dinner two days after his father’s surprise Election Day victory, Trump and his wife left the restaurant and walked a few blocks before encountering a group of teens openly hostile toward the next president.

Reports indicate one of the protesters rehashed a slogan used by Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton throughout the general election.

“Love trumps hate!” the unidentified teen shouted.

At least one other heckler was notably less polite.

“Eric,” Page Six quotes the protester, “– f— your father!”

At a minimum, his children should be now protected by the Secret Service. If they are not, then some effing SS heads should roll by damn.

They don't automatically. But the Secret Service will protect whoever the President tells them to protect.

I’m sure the secret service was there. Their job is to protect the life of their principals not to maintain order and peace in the streets. There is no doubt if any of these yutes had made any attempt to harm Eric or his wife they would have been put down like a rabid dog. The real store is that Eric and his wife (gazillionaires) had dinner at Quality Italian. By small town standards it would be considered fancy and expensive - $15 salad $30 pasta dish $50 steak) but New York standards that’s like eating at Applebees. The Trumps ate their because the food is good not because it’s the hoity toity place to be. Raised well by his father.

I suppose the SS could have been there somewhere, but not apparent; though that would seem to defeat their purpose. Then again, maybe this whole story is fabricated and they didn't even eat out at Quality Italian or anywhere else on Thursday.

I do not know but I'm not sure that adult members of Trump's extended family outside his own spouse are covered by the SS. Did Ronald Reagan adult children have SS details?
