Looks like to me on the video that the driver came to a stop a few hundred feet up the road.

I can understand the driver doing the right thing, however, if that driver had stopped, he/she would have been literally BEATEN TO DEATH. No doubt in my mind.

I wouldn’t stop amidst a throng of protesters after having accidently hit one. I would pull ahead about 1/4 mile and then pull over and be ready to move again if the crowd is after me.

The freeways in kalifornia are clearly marked "no pedestrians".

Of course these snowflakes think they are exempt. But, they sure became believers after one got whacked.

btw THEY SURGED onto the road and this car driver may not have had time to react to the illegal incursion.
