Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans, who starred at Texas A&M and Galveston Ball High School, took a knee during the National Anthem before Sunday's game, but he didn't do it for the same reason as some other players in the NFL.
Evans explained after the game that he kneeled during the anthem for the first time this season because Donald Trump has been elected president.

Gotta realize who watches football. Those snowflakes having nervous breakdowns because of the election aren't big vans. Insult your fan base and you will be washing cars next year.

I’m a YUGE football fan. What’s worse is the only other sport i like is boxing.
But you know what.
#### em. That means I wont be watching any games but my home team as long as they’re competitive AND no one kneel on either side.
I dont watch the other day game, monday night or thursday night now.
My team’s off week, I dont watch any games.
I might consider kneeling, too! .... to say a prayer of thanks.

(As a counterpoint, one of my best friends in college was a EE...and a linebacker...who had a better GPA than I. So, some of those jocks ain’t dumb.
But the kneelers are.
