Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, sending the Republican businessman to the White House as the first president-elect with no prior experience in government or the military.
Trumps unexpected victory sent shockwaves throughout the country and the world, and will likely do the same for federal agencies. Trump has promised to institute a government wide hiring freeze on his first day in office and to change civil service laws to ease the firing of disloyal workers. Last month, just 65 percent of federal employees said they were committed to staying in their jobs if Trump were elected.

Clinton and Obama supporters afraid of Trump.
“Trumps unexpected victory sent shockwaves throughout the country and the world,”
We shook up the world!
-—I eagerly await the resignations of those ten percent of government employees who supposedly threatened to quit if Trump won——
If the far left “media” had been paying attention, they would have realized that this was what the 2016 election was all about. Americans are tired of abusive public servants trying to tell them how they are supposed to live or else. This will go down as the year WE THE PEOPLE told the rich, greedy politicians, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Woo hoo!! A 35% cut in government already!! And they won’t even be missed. Go Trump!!
Having "Been there..., done that", I can assure you that the vast majority of Federal Executives and employees are Dims through and through (though some are communist/socialists in commitment!)
Donald Trump’s military academy photos in WA Post article:
“Last month, just 65 percent of federal employees said they were committed to staying in their jobs if Trump were elected.”
Excellent. 35% forced out is a nice, but small, start.
They are not going to give up their well paid, cushy jobs.
Yet another article portraying Trump as bad.
I hope this helps flip Virginia back to Republican, fire all those Democratics working in washington that are infesting Northern Virginia.
“Obviously a dispassionate, impartial article”
I see it as leftists in the government afraid of a Trump presidency.
Hopefully, they are afraid for a good reason.
Imagine the improvement if we could fire 30% of them.
“.....Last month, just 65 percent of federal employees said they were committed to staying in their jobs if Trump were elected.”
Tells us how many disloyal workers we have doesn’t it.
Trump should start with the VA personnel whom schedule the appointments. They have the system working for themselves.
And to that end, a Federal Survey of all Federal employees -- the first Federal Census, a 'get-to-know-your-friendly-Fed-employee'. What do you do, do you like doing it, what results have you seen, etc etc.
Washington D.C. and surrounding suburbs have been recession proof for many decades.
I think there should be a severe cutback in many non-Defense agencies. If the D.C. areas suffers a first-ever recession, so be it. The hinterlands should benefit through decreased taxes, decreased inflation, and no Federal borrowing.
Riding government of stupid people would take it down to about 5% and you could still run all the departments more effectively and efficiently.
We’ve got two years to shrink government, let’s eliminate whole agencies and free up our economy again.
It’s telling that the wealthiest zip codes are those around DC. Once the parasites are gone, we can really prosper.
move some of those government building out of VA to MD, DE and make VA red again.
I suggest others boycott all products coming out of CA, WA and Oregon!
We're blowing smoke Trump. Drop the incoming right on top of our position.
***********Go Trump**********
