Los Angeles (AFP) - When would-be immigrants Bernardino and Samuel got word in Mexico of the election of Donald Trump, they immediately gave up their plans to cross illegally into the United States.
The rhetoric that originally fueled the billionaire populist's rise to power was built around his ambitious promises to deport the 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the US and to build a "big, beautiful, powerful wall" along the border with Mexico.
Now, with the New York Republican's stunning victory Tuesday, fear and uncertainty are surging among undocumented immigrants. Will their workplaces be raided? Will there be mass expulsions? Greater obstacles to gaining legal status? What will happen?

Maybe if they leave voluntarily, and report to ICE on their way out, we could tell them that they’ll be considered first to come back in?
After the ones are processed that are coming in legally, of course....
EXCELLENT!!!
GREAT IDEA!!!! PERFECT IDEA!!! SEND TO TUMP!!
My mother was from Phoenix. My sister was born there too as my father was “over there” (North Africa) during her birth, so my mother “went home” to have my sister.
Everyday there will be sob stories. He will just have to endure them. In a few years once most that remain have gone through the legalization process, or have been deported all will be well.
The Left’s love affair with criminals continues.
“Now, with the New York Republican’s stunning victory Tuesday, fear and uncertainty are surging among undocumented immigrants.”
Not seeing the problem here. People reap what they sow.
Then it worked!
fear and uncertainty are surging among undocumented immigrants.
See?
Will their workplaces be raided? Will there be mass expulsions?
Yep, that's the plan. Let's hope it comes to pass.
Good. As it should be.
I suspect a lot of legal, law abiding hispanics are secretly happy to see them leave.
Here is a simple analogy. A family breaks into your house, steals your stuff, eats your food, and decides it would be a nice place to live and refuses to leave. Is it unreasonable and racist to HAVE THEM REMOVED?
One thing Trump will trash right away is the phony “11 million illegals” number. More like forty million.
Deporting 30-40 million undocumented Democrats will be a vast improvement.
First would be to round up the ones with a criminal background. The rest would be harder. Not only are illegals from Latin America but almost half are from Asia, Russia, China, India, the middle east, Europe, Africa, and even Canada. You would have to issue some form of new government ID, one that would be difficult to forge to assure that you were born in the United States. Next would be the formation of a special immigration “police force” that would have powers of arrest and detainment. Everyone would have to submit to searches and stops and raids. Rounding up illegals will take years.
No doubt.
Not a good time to be having a house built though lol.
The media is known for its viscosity.
“Get out! Then try to come here legally! “
But mostly just GTFO.
They have no just argument with President Trump or the American people.
Children brought here illegally can only blame their parents--or whoever brought them here.
These people have no just argument against the enforcement of American law. They should have thought of that before they broke US laws--laws for which they have shown only contempt and scorn.
OK, you got me there. The Grammar Police and the Spelling Police seem to be out in full force this weekend, writing “tickets” to anyone who misses an apostrophe (did I spell that right?) or a letter. So far I haven’t been charged with any violations by the Thought Police, thankfully.
The illegals’ attitude reminds me of the morons on reality shows like `COPs’: “Even though I was driving drunk in a stolen car, I outran you and made it to my driveway. So you can’t touch me.”
Think again, scumbags.
i’m still waiting for someone to tell me which laws i’m allowed to ignore.
still waiting..............
