Los Angeles (AFP) - When would-be immigrants Bernardino and Samuel got word in Mexico of the election of Donald Trump, they immediately gave up their plans to cross illegally into the United States.
The rhetoric that originally fueled the billionaire populist's rise to power was built around his ambitious promises to deport the 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the US and to build a "big, beautiful, powerful wall" along the border with Mexico.
Now, with the New York Republican's stunning victory Tuesday, fear and uncertainty are surging among undocumented immigrants. Will their workplaces be raided? Will there be mass expulsions? Greater obstacles to gaining legal status? What will happen?

What I don't want is the low or no-skilled border-jumpers (from everywhere) looking to tap into our support systems and suck on the government teat, or criminals/gangs terrorizing our society, all while crying "Reconquista!" or "We want Sharia law, not US law to judge us!" and running rampant against the very institutions that made this country great.
Many immigrants have come here and made an amazing life, but they did it LEGALLY! Time to drain the swamp, put the illegals out, and bring in those who can be vetted properly so they can make contribute to this nation and make their lives here prosper here as well, legally.
Damn straight.
OUTLAWS.
Edit: Swiss citizenship can be awarded to permanent residents after a long and expensive process.
That’s a good point. We need immediate legislation to stop this practice.
Fine. Refer to it as immigration abortion.
Planned Citizenship.
The daughter of a first cousin (Mexican) DESPISES those illegal Mexicans. They make life for all Americans of Mexican heritage AND LEGAL immigrants a living hell here!
He needs to get the 5’th seat on the Supreme Court in place. That’s where a lot of what he wants to do will end up.
Lol.
Didn't take you very long.
Tucson overflowing last Sunday with ethnics.
This Sunday empty.
65 miles to cross the border.
“the time of Trump”
They only have to worry for one day.
The Great Day of the Rope, which is scheduled for the day after the inauguration.
Lefty/Globalist greatest fear. Culture War with a conservative Supreme Court and majorities in the house and senate.
The young woman in the article who said she feels betrayed by the American dream is wrong, she was betrayed by her parents who came illegally bringing her here at 6yrs old. She was also betrayed by the pResident who had no right to do as he did, though he did have the ability so he did it.

Last Thursday traffic heading South incredibly heavy.
Remember. Almost every one has a home to go back to.
...and take your Mexican flags and Trump piñatas with you when you go...!
Lol. Wasn’t my original post. But thought I’d help as I used to live there :)
bernardino is a rapist and Samuel distributes heroin. best they stay in Mexico till the heat is off.
Well, given that they are BREAKING THE LAW and leaving my fellow US citizens un/underemployed, why shouldn’t they be afraid? I’m not even unerstanding how this ever became controversial.
I’d say that their best bet would be to leave.
My thought exactly. They are Illegal Invaders who should be sent home. Anyone who helps them is a traitor for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
The best analogy...
They broke into my house. She has a baby.
I cannot evict her, I must support (food clothes and house) her, and her child. And they demand that they get an equal say in what my family spends money on, and further demands I grant them an equal share of the inheritance I leave to my children.
Not just no....hell no. Start rounding them up and deporting them today.
the time of Trump
Funny, I remember people saying “the age of [BO].” Now it’s “the time of Trump.” It’s as if they expected BO’s legacy to be lasting and permanent, and Trump’s to be a blip on the screen.
