We geniuses in the news media spent only the last month telling you how Donald Trump was losing this election. We spent the last year telling you how the Republican Party was unraveling.
And here we are, with the Democrats in tatters. You might want to think twice about our Oscar and Super Bowl predictions.
Despite all the discussion of demographic forces that doomed the G.O.P., it will soon control the presidency as well as both chambers of Congress and two of every three governor’s offices. And that’s not just a function of James Comey, Julian Assange and misogyny. Democrats who believe so are dangerously mistaken.
Other factors conspired in the party’s debacle. One in particular haunts me. From the presidential race on down, Democrats adopted a strategy of inclusiveness that excluded a hefty share of Americans and consigned many to a “basket of deplorables” who aren’t all deplorable. Some are hurt. Some are confused.
Liberals miss this by being illiberal. They shame not just the racists and sexists who deserve it but all who disagree. A 64-year-old Southern woman not onboard with marriage equality finds herself characterized as a hateful boob. Never mind that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton weren’t themselves onboard just five short years ago.
Political correctness has morphed into a moral purity that may feel exhilarating but isn’t remotely tactical. It’s a handmaiden to smugness and sanctimony, undermining its own goals.
I worry about my and my colleagues’ culpability along these lines. I plan to use greater care in how I talk to and about Americans more culturally conservative than I am. That’s not a surrender of principle or passion. It’s a grown-up acknowledgment that we’re a messy, imperfect species.

His arrogance and executive orders and illegal activites contributed to the downfall of the dems. That’s the only good thing about Obama. I hope he has to face up to the bribe to Iran, letting out prisoners, the IRS and the list goes on and on. Didn’t he break the law when he let out Gitmo detainees without telling Congress. The Democrats screwed up alright... they started believing their own slanted polls and demagogues. So they didn’t cheat as much as they needed to win in some key states that they didn’t think would be battlegrounds.
The only way we will win the presidency in the future is by using both houses of congress and the presidency to assure accountability, transparency and fairness to our national election process. Just the number of illegal aliens who voted after being assured by Obama there would be no consequences was no doubt staggering, but other outright fraud most likely added millions more fraudulent votes to the total also.
Trump brought the fight to too many states where the fraud machine was not firmly in place. He outmaneuvered them.

They are never going to learn. I really believe that.
Because tovlearn requires them to believe that they can be wrong. That others may disagree with them for more than one legitimate valid reasons that do not require their permission to hold. And that while they may have a worldview that they believe works for them, others may have worldviews that work for them, and work better than their do. That,others may have better solutions,to things than they do.
They cant learn thismstuff because it threatens their worldview and it causes them to have to critically examine their beliefs. They dont do that. It shows the illogic and contradictions inherent in their patchwork of “values”.
Illegals that want to vote should be told in no uncertain terms that this is illegal and that they will go to jail and be deported. Not encouraged to yet again break the laws of the USA and continue to get away with it. That would stop them from cheating if they thought they would be caught and deported.

It’s my firm opinion that most people have no clue what their “world view” is or what it even means.
It’s been my experience that very few people have examined their belief systems, identified the sources of their beliefs, or ever questioned them.
This is especially true of the “independents” the “undecided” (I call them the “never decided”), because they don’t have a consistent set of values underpinned by a critically examined belief system. Without such a guide they forever have problems coming up with a decision.
It,also means that since they dont take time to examine their beliefs,
They have a serious habit,of acting inconsistently and contradictory whenever it suits them. They change their rules all the time based on immediate current circumstances.
I don’t remember names, but Obama’s destruction of the Democrat party was predicted shortly after he took office.
As hard as it is to predict an election, it’s even harder to predict how 4 years of a presidency goes.
We tend to forget Bush Jr. campaigned against nation-building and was fairly isolationist in his attitude. Then China kidnapped our plane and 9/11 happened.
The ugliness he meant is the aforementioned grandma who doesn’t believe in letting men in dresses into the ladies’ room.
None of this is about him realizing the insanity of liberal policies. It’s about them changing their pitch to soft-sell them instead of threatening people to comply.
It is speculated that the reason Obama’s college records are sealed is that he claimed to be from Kenya to get foreign student benefits.
Later he had to hide that in order to run for President. The press wouldn’t look into it, so he got away with it.
Birthers may be looking for the wrong crime.

It’s a tangible thing to praise the Lord for. Donald Trump must be proverbially part cat. He has 9 lives, and probably more.
Anyhow, I believe a spiritual shift has accompanied Donald’s victory. This isn’t in a vacuum, and once the shallow lefties get over being stunned, I wager that it will dawn on them that Donald isn’t half bad. Donald, in fact, is an old fashioned liberal, the kind that believed in freedom of thought but not in barrages of bullying lies that cripple thought.
Our modern lefties were energized, I posit, by baleful entities in the spiritual realm, and we were weak against them because we were not very serious about God ourselves.
The Barack era sold guns, but even more importantly, it seems to have sold prayers. We saw that business as usual would result in a disaster for America. And so did Donald Trump. And the beautiful thing here is that Donald didn’t need to be religious at all, at least in the way we think, though he may be now after seeing the witness of what God has done.
Sap the evil spiritual energy source of the lefties, and they may be granted repentance by the Lord (as the Good Book tells us to pray for).
The devil never, ever gives up; however he can be overpowered by the Lord. Let us remember the favor that we have been granted by heaven, and respond in a suitable way, giving thanks and praying for the blessing to be continued and extended.
