Ingraham would not comment for this article. A source familiar told The Hill that she's in contact with people in Trump's inner circle and has expressed interest in the role.
The president-elect and his inner circle hold Ingraham in the highest esteem. They view her as tough, admire her rhetorical skills, and believe she'd powerfully convey Trump's anti-establishment message.
Selecting Ingraham would send a signal that Trump has no interest in softening his relationships with the Republican leaders in Washington, D.C.

Hannity has made a 360 in this election. He stood firm and held his ground for Trump. It wasn't a popular place to be in his occupation. But he did it; and he has won my respect, and forgiveness. Beck... 'nuf said. I'm still not sold on Ingraham. I want somebody who will stand unabashedly for their principles regardless of the weather. I think Palin would be a good choice. Her presence alone would piss the world off; she wouldn't have to open her mouth. I think Hannity is being underestimated. He was extremely impressive this election cycle. I'm proud of him. I think he could do the job.

Hannity,Laura, and savage supported Trump from the beggining on their radio shows. They saved America imo. They need to stay there.
I did use that link to express my concerns to the Trump people. I also emailed Senator Jeff Sessions who shares our concerns about immigration & he most certainly has Trump’s ear.

I think Ingraham would be better helping to craft Trump admin messages as WH Communications Director, a more senior and prestigious position. Press Secy has two functions: present the messages and assist the press corps with obtaining the information the admin is willing to let them have. Tony Snow was the gold standard — he could charm the press while at the same time telling them to stuff it. Ingraham can’t do that.
She would be a good choice.
Of all the people on Brett’s Special Report Panel, she is the only one that stood and was counted as a stem winding speaker at the Republican Convention

She does have a reputation for nastiness to the “little people” and failure to accept accept responsibility for her mistakes. Those traits remind me of Hillary.
Yes. She’s also very short with callers and just this week she berated Rich Lowry for having a lousy cell phone! The problem, of course, is not all these malfunctioning cellphones she goes on about, but her amateur status as a radio professional. You don’t see these constant screw-ups with Sean, Rush or Mark Simone. I give Laura one hour a day and switch to the funny and sarcastic Mark Simone. He also has Anne Coulter on once and week and she’s been on a roll.
