As I remember things in MY alternate reality, the enemedia spent 96% of their time calling Trump AND we supporters of his, ignorant, old, uneducated, misogynous, sexist, racist (especially racist), Hitlarian, xenophobic, deplorable, rural, rednecks, AND we hated dogs, cats AND children.
But if you mean by giving Trump “a pass” that the enemedia spent ONLY 96% of their time calling us those things instead of 100% of their time, then I understand what you mean.
