Could be worse, since WP says there are 251,107 persons of Voting Age in 2016, and thus around 53 5 turned out.
From 1846 to 1900 turnout averaged 70-80%, then from 1904 to now it has averaged 50-60%
But it also says
By 2004, ineligible voters constituted nearly 10%.[citation needed] Ineligible voters are not evenly distributed across the country 20% of California's voting-age population is ineligible to vote which confounds comparisons of states.[citation needed]
Thank you JLAGRAYFOX for this great optimism. We have something to hope for: Make California Great Again!
If the vision for the new “American Dream” continues to evoke fantasies of “free healthcare”, “ free college”, unrestricted public budgets (printing $$), continued focus on “free trade” and an economy based on consumerism...
...we’re still going off the cliff and, frankly, at this point - despite others’ euphoria - I don’t necessarily believe that that would be a bad thing...
As we saw with ME and possibly NH, the Northeast is a candidate to try to flip a few states. IIRC CT and RI now have red counties
And "they" can certainly hear us. But I'm convinced they will never care and are already plotting to usurp the will of We The People. They have to be driven out of power and politically destroyed. And x's 10 for the media.
Trump is the man for this season.
NOAA Tornado data 2016 one of the quietest years since records began in 1954 Below average for 5th year in a row.

Thanks President Trump!
B.S. We don’t know how much anyone won the popular vote by, because the absentee ballots are not counted in many states. Since a lot of those ballots are military, it could very well be that Trump won the popular vote too.
And we have no idea how a Popular Vote would have gone. A lot of folks in the non-Swing states stay home because they know how their state is going to go.
Also, the Campaign Strategy would be completely different.
So Trump “only” won by 108,600 in 3 states.
But they claim she won by 200,000 in 50 states.
First of all, it’s ONLY 200,000 - count the darn absentee ballots, I’ll bet she didn’t win diddly squat.
One look at that map tells any intelligent person why the electoral college is necessary. It’s to prevent tyranny.
There is no evidence at all that spendibg made a difference. The tape cost Trump NH, possibly MN. This cycle, I dont tbink we could get CO, NM, NV. But next time.<<<<
What’s really going to make the difference next time is increased prosperity and living standards. People are going to see the difference, and vote the difference.
This country has been down for so long, people have forgotten what it was like to afford to live, to own a home, to be able to pay the mortgage, insurances, utilities, buy food from their own pockets (as opposed to depending on foodstamps) AND be able to choose one’s own doctor again!
I remember when all of that could be done, and MORE, on ONE income, and still have a few bucks left over for entertainment and American made leather shoes.
All states count all absentee ballots.
They do not count “write in” votes if the margin of victory is greater than the number of “write in” ballots.
With the margins in this election, I dont see that happening, possibly even in my lifetime (if it were to happen, this election should have been a landslide; not by a long shot, sadly).
This is a great point to make. We have the Electoral College to prevent total domination by larger states. Those who wage war on the College dont understand the consequences of not having it. Thats why the leftist/cultural-marxists want it gone. It would mean NO RESISTANCE to eternal domination by the liberal and immigrant-heavy states/counties.
They are already starting it up again. They love saying how Hillary won the popular vote. They have to frame it as some sort of injustice in order to turn American opinion against it.
I still believe that Maine and Nebraska have it right. Two electoral votes to the state winner, then one vote to the winner in each congressional district within that state. This would further force some candidates (and you know who they are) to venture past the population centers of certain states. California, for example, with it's 55 votes, can be had by the winners of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento. Never mind the other 2/3 of the state that would be even or slightly red (bright red in some places!)
In fact, had such a voting procedure been in place in 2012, the results would have been Obama 264 (209 CDs, 26 states x 2, plus 3 for DC) and Romney 274 (226 CDs, plus 24 states x 2).
Now THAT result would have made liberal heads explode, eh?
We truly dodged a fatal bullet. The HildaBeast round would have ended the Republic as founded

I want for nothing.
TRUMP WON
I think you’re right; he is unique (and both parties are probably already scrambling to prevent this in their primaries again). This was especially a shock to people too lazy to find the real news; if you only watched the enemedia, this IS the end of the world.
“True, but there are bigger fish to fry than homo marriage and baby killing at hand.”
I’m sorry, but this is a horrible thing to say (especially regarding the babies); this is the American Holocaust, and like many Europeans 75 years ago, too many people don’t want to deal with it.
As a “cracker”, Trump’s win also means nothing if affirmative action, designed to marginalize white/Asian men, is allowed to stand. Much of our changing demographics are a reflection of this marginalization; reducing opportunities for white men (resulting in lower birthrates) is immoral and indefensible and unconstitutional.
I think it’s even more dramatic than that map. I’d like to see a map that has much more resolution, at least by precinct. Or even by vote if it is possible. The blue areas would shrink even more. For instance. San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties in so cal are large counties, each with a city that votes democrat. Same with Clark county, Nevada, which has Las Vegas.
Urban dwellers have an anti rural bias and punish them in many ways with political power.
