Mayor Ed Lee and San Francisco politicians are bracing for what President-elect Donald Trump lists as one of his main priorities: blocking

Nowhere in the article do they mention the most rational action, which is to knock off the sanctuary city declaration. The status actually doesn’t have much effect on the operation of immigration enforcement, that’s coming from Obama’s various holds.
Deporting convicted criminals can be done without help from the city, as can immigration raids, catching visa holdovers, and they can work around a city refusal to honor immigration holds. So it really comes down to willingly accepting a cut back in city services to support a position that has little practical use. This comes, mind you, at the point where cities are about to be hit with huge bills from the state’s underfunded pension system. Mostly what sticking with the policy would get them is a bunch of p.o’d taxpayers, and some political challengers who will be given an incumbent-created constituency.
The voters had a different idea. I can only hope that Trump shuts off all federal funds for social programs in cities like San Francisco. Pelosi's phone in D.C. will melt down. And there's nothing she would be able to do. Oh yeah, she said something lately to the effect that the Dems would be willing to work with Trump. HA!
Hey Deportables. Trump won. SEE ya!
One worry, though, is that they will vote to become part of communist China and invite their military to move in.
Their first option will be to seek long-term gap funding in municipal bonds and then to increase business licenses, fees and increase business property tax. As a last resort, regular home owner property taxes.
They have to appear to keep the brunt of the gap funding maintenance costs off away from the private citizen homeowner - because they vote. The increase in prices to the consumer from these businesses who are the stuckee for the gap funding maintenance will be blamed on capitalist pig gouging.
B!tch gonna be waving them fingers from the other side of the border one day.
The Southern half of California has been Reconquista’d already. Coincidentally it’s also the half that has had so many cities that have just about gone bankrupt and the most crime. Funny “coincidence” I’d say...
Ericka Andiola. Man that is one mouthy La Razan beotch...her mom collects governmentt benefits and runs a catering business on the side that makes her quite a bit of non-taxable money on the side. They were living in Arizona last I remember...
SF gets ONE BILLION every year from the Feds? 10% of their total budget! Unbelievable.
Why does any city get a single cent of our federal tax dollars?
Trump should up the ante and work with Congress to end ALL federal largesse to cities. Period.
Because I live there?
The problem is the enemy holds the most beautiful parts of the country. It would be better to evict them.
Thanks for the information. I pulled a random picture off the internet. When Government funding gets cut off to groups like La Raza, it will wipe that dopey smile off her face.
“Time to enforce our existing immigration laws. If cities do not comply, be prepared for the penalties.”
If they don’t comply, then everyone in any level of leadership should at least get a separate charge of fraud for every paycheck they’ve cashed.
I got pics of her little operation (her Mom’s). Ericka has a mouth it in real life she lives in fear. She did go to work for a politician for awhile and thought she was all that it then left I think...can’t stand her...
Kill funding for Southwest Key Group and their done...
