While the overwhelming majority of Jewish voters voted for Hillary Clinton over President-elect Donald Trump, the Republican candidate still received the second-highest total Jewish vote for the GOP in the past 30 years, beaten only by Mitt Romney in 2012.
According to a poll released on election night for J Street by Democratic pollster Jim Gerstein, “there is a bloc of Jewish Republicans — it exists, it is small, but it is not going away.”

I have never understood the suicidal stupidity of my co-religionists when it comes to politics. Jews can be very bright in business, medicine, the sciences, and a whole host of other areas - but when it comes to politics and especially the politics of self-preservation, Jews as a group seem to be as dumb as a box of rocks. Maybe somewhere in the distant past someone made a Faustian bargain to be smart in all of those other areas, but have the counterweight of political stupidity. Who knows?
I most certainly do not know everything. But here are a few things that I do know:
I have never seen films of Jews leaving boxcars with guns in their hands, but I do know that the Democratic Party would disarm me in a heartbeat if they could get away with it.
I know that my paternal grandfather ran away from Communism in Russia in 1923, leaving behind his entire family to come to the United States, so that he and his progeny could be free. I also know that his family in the USSR suffered greatly under Communism, and that I hate it and its advocates with a white hot passion. Simultaneously, I know that the Democratic Party has been inexorably moving this country in the direction of Communism. Hell, Vladimir Putin is less of a Communist than most Democrats, and he probably still has his party card.
I know that a significant percentage of Muslims would, if they had the chance, cut off my head or otherwise kill me for being Jewish. Simultaneously, the Democratic Party has been cozying up to and taking money from some of the most radical Muslim regimes on the planet.
I know that Israel is a tiny and beleaguered refuge for Jews, the only place that has ever fulfilled that role in the last two thousand years. I also know that the Democratic Party has been doing its level best to defang the Israeli military and to leave Israel as defenseless as possible in the face of it’s implacably hostile enemies. Further, the Democratic Party is almost completely responsible fir allowing the nation of Iran to develop and obtain nuclear weapons and delivery systems, and helping to finance such acquisition.
I know that I at least try to adhere to and teach my children according to the faith and values of my forefathers. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is shoving gay marriage, men in women’s restrooms, locker rooms and showers, abortion on demand, and a whole host of other morally-abhorrent ideas and practices down our throats.
In short, the Democratic Party stands for everything that I oppose, and against everything that I am for. It is beyond any logical reason why the majority of Jews here do not stand for the exact same principles that I do. Yet, they do. The only explanation that I can offer is that most American Jews have replaced the religion of their fathers with the false (and rather stupid) “god” of Leftism. We are all far worse off for it, Jew and non-Jew alike.
Boggles the mind that they (liberal Jews) are that stupid.

I sure hope so. Because I’m not. And I was attacked mercilessly by several of our Jewish friends that are members here. For simply asking the question “Why do Jews vote against their best interests?”

Unfortunately, the majority of Jews in America, while they are ethnically Jewish, religiously they are not. They relate to one another in the business world as an “exclusive corporation” that generally excludes non-Jews, but I would bet that the vast majority of them are not the least bit religious. Good for you that you seek to impart your faith and heritage to your children, if there are enough of you, Judaism will survive.
Address sine of their concerns without compromising his views.

Keep raising that issue with them, keep challenging them. That’s the only way to get them to think. Otherwise, they are in an echo chamber and will only hear things that confirm their faulty views.
The same principle applies here as applied to all the MSM pre-election polls (even more so when we're talking J Street) which deliberately overstated the Clinton vote to create the illusion that the Witch was a shoo-in.
These aren’t ones to whom religion is important.
They’re like the “Christians” that voted Hillary.
How many votes being counted as popular votes for the Witch were voter fraud, e.g., the dead voting, illegals voting, voting machine errors, voters voting numerous times in different cities or states, RATs helping elderly vote, and the list goes on? Note, the MSM doesn’t mention that anywhere. How many voter fraud lawsuits have been filed in how many states?

Don’t trust any poll done for J Street leftists. Period.
There is a silent movement of Jewish voters that is on the uptick for conservative values (forget the Republican party for the moment).
With Obama, Holder, Lynch, Sharpton, Jackson, BLM, the NAACP, and black extremists on campus having attacked Jews by using the issue of Israel and the Palestinians as cover, it became very apparent to moderate Democrat Jews that they were not getting the support from the Democrat Party that they should have.
There have been no specific investigations of organized anti-Semitism from BLM, communist groups, and Arab/Arab -American and Moslem groups on campuses across the country, despite very significant evidence of RICO-like organized hate campaigns and physical harassment.
And the trend is for more of this for the next couple of years until Jewish legal groups sue the crap out of the JSP, UPJ, and other hate groups, as well as beating the shit out of a few thugs just to show them that Jews can fight back against black and Moslem fascists, as well as communist thugs.
The one think that the late, murdered Rabbi Meir Kahane stressed regarding anti-semites in the US is that nobody is going to come to the Jews defense except other Jews. That is why he formed the Jewish Defense League (for good or bad).
A lot of physical attacks on Jews in New York City stopped after the JDL showed up, armed with bats and other goodies. Cowards never want to take on an armed victim. Only the commie psychoes do.
Jews will now promote conservative values in a parallel movement that includes support for our new president, Donald Trump. It will be a fascinating movement to watch.

Some Jews know about and don’t like the path to the gas chamber. That is why they are opposed to Iran and its Russian protectors.
