Seattle Socialist councilwoman Kshama Sawant told protesters to shut down Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington DC.
Sawant told the crowd of organized anti-Trump protesters that the movement against President-elect Donald Trump is just beginning.

I responded with a list of some of the anti-Trump violence and harassment that has been happening nationwide, and I even deleted all my obscenities before I posted it.

Access to Capitol Hill is VERY tightly controlled during the Inauguration ceremony and parade.
The police, Secret Service and maybe even NG, as needed, will be everywhere.

The local news and seattle times almost treats her as the 2nd coming (in political terms). They run to her for comments all the time.
India has actually made a massive move away from Nehru/Gandhi’s socialist Congress party. The current prime minister (rough equivalent of our president) Mr Modi is a fervent capitalist. Modi was chief minister of Gujerat state for 10 years (rough equivalent of our state governors) transforming it into the most prosperous state in India. That was the main reason Modi’s party won nationwide election and he became prime minister.
People like Ms Sawant and her socialism is being rejected in India, but she was accepted and elected in liberal Seattle as a city councilman. In summary, she doesn’t stand a chance to succeed in Indian politics, but seems to be flourishing in United States.
