Even the town with perhaps the deepest historical ties to the Clintons voted for Donald Trump in Tuesday's election.
The county that surrounds Hope, Ark. -- the birthplace and boyhood home of Bill Clinton, in the state where the Clintons made their political name -- backed Trump by an overwhelming two-to-one margin.
According to state data, a total of 62.45 percent of voters in Hempstead County went for Trump, to Hillary Clintons 33.72 percent.
The state of Arkansas as a whole voted along the same lines, with 60.59 percent voting for Trump and 33.65 percent voting for Clinton.

He did say Trump could pressure him to resign.
I don’t think I misunderstood.

That’s true, but there are ways to force him to quit.
All Hope is lost (for the Clintons).
