The left protested Bush's 2001 inauguration. My sister Maica and I had to walk many blocks to find a way to get to see the parade because of all the protesters. When it was over, there were tons of trash, largely their protest signs, left by the protesters. When Obama had his inauguration, we let him enjoy his win.

Bush was ultimately a disappointment, but we were happy not to have AlGore.

D C 's January temperature ranges from about 50 down to 10 degrees. Reagan held the outdoor events in 1986 indoors due to below zero wind chill numbers. I plan to go to Trump's inauguration and parade and hope it will be closer to 50.
