Not for a minute. The Turtle is a lying sack of poo. He's just worried about his own a$$ now and will say anything. Pathetic is all I can think of when I hear his name.

Maybe Trump will issue 300 million Obamacare waivers.

Kill the IRS penalty. Allow free and portable competition. Eliminate the mandate for ins companies to take anyone. Allow for basic plans. Allow hospitals and trauma centers to say no to illegals and non-payers. Install tort reform.

We need to make our voices heard with our state’s senators.

For all the good that will do here in NY, but we can try anyway.

The first priority of the Congress will be to figure out how to charge US their ‘donor’ contributions before January 2017. The Republicans have done nothing to stop the spread of the deadly virus of progressives.. instead they have taken their ‘fair’ share of we the people's wealth...

The only thing Mitch the Senate has done ‘rightly’ was to refuse Texas Cruz a resolution of eligibility... NOT even Mitch the Senate would cross that ‘Constitutional’ line.

I don’t believe him. But I do believe Trump, and if one could do the American people and the American economy the greatest service, would be to get rid of the worse law since Prohibition.

Actually I do. Mitch goes with the flow and appeases the powerful. Also, he knows Trump will actually sign a repeal whereas Obama never would nor would there be enough votes to overide the veto.

It boils down to Donald’s mandate. He did this without them and can push them as hard as he wants if he has OUR support...which he does for the foreseeable future.

Failure to cooperate means adios, although Mitch isn’t up in ‘18.

Right, Mitch, and to kick you out of Congress—right after we restrict your Healthcare coverage to Obama care and your retirement to social security.

I know McConnell is not popular here, but he deserves kudos for not caving in on the Supreme Court nomination. Giving Trump that pick will be Yugh!

The Dems will block, through filibuster, any and all attempts to get rid of Obamacare. However, could the Republicans use a Continuing resolution to defund it, since that is the way that it was passed originally? Also, could the Republicans gain a veto-proof majority after the 2018 elections, since so many Dem senator seats will be up in that election?

"Anyone believe him?"

"I would be shocked if we didn't move forward and keep our commitment to the American people."

Sen. McConnell is wrongly ignoring that repealing Obamacare is not simply a matter of Senate votes.

More specifically, low-information McConnell is seemingly clueless that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Senate should have vetoed the Obamacare bill. This is because, regardless what lawless Obama’s activist justices want everybody to think about Obamacare, it remains that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend in the name of INTRAstate healthcare.

Republicans might finally have someone who can show them how to be real leaders. That is Trump, not McConnell.

If the GOP ‘leaders’ start balking, they should be put out to pasture.

NOT repeal and replace, just repeal. Then we can negotiate without being under the gun. And if the democrats filibuster, then grant nationwide waivers. They have to repeal before we will even talk about new legislation, and we’ll draw the teeth from the current terrible law.
