Nah, he is just another Trump Train Hobo. He could have endorsed Trump at the convention..but didn’t.

There really wasn’t a lot of difference between them in terms of philosophy once Trump outlined his positions. I think in many ways, Cruz pulled him to the right just as Sanders pulled Hillary to the left. Trump was a force of nature, whereas Cruz was not. Maybe some day his time will come. Who knows.... but his support is needed as the Senate margin is thin (for two years).

When Ted was running, he promised to “repeal every word of Obamacare.” Let’s hope he and Donald can work together to get that done.

Excellent.

Ted forgot to mention the repudiation of the GOPe as well. Ted does not get it, never did.

Fair enough, thanks Senator. Now don’t be shy, jump on the Trump train and help MAGA!
It’s verbotten to post stuff from the New Yorker on FR but if you want to have a laugh, Google “CRUZ DELIVERS EARLY CONCESSION SPEECH FOR TRUMP”. It’s a short piece of satire posted early election day morning by Andy Borowitz from the NYT and it is a hoot.

heh, heh--Cruz adopting Trump's favorite adjective. Next thing-- he'll be yelling "Yuge"!

This election astonished the pundits. This was a change election. Americans voted for Republicans because of a promise to go to Washington to reverse our current course, and end the Washington cartel -- a promise to drain the swamp. Now is the time to follow through on those words with action. We cannot wait even one day to begin implementing a conservative agenda that fulfills those commitments. I look forward to working with the new administration to confirm conservative justices from the strong list of 21 jurists that was promised. I look forward to working with the new administration to repeal Obamacare, to once and for all secure the border and enforce our immigration laws, and to take action that will rebuild our military and stop radical Islamic terrorists from infiltrating our homeland. I am eager to help lead the fight in the Senate to pass the conservative agenda that President-elect Trump promised to the American people. Yep ... 110%, full court press, maximum effort, Ted. Just do it. 4 years isn't a lot of time.

I was an ardent Cruz supporter, but knowing what I know now, only Donald J. Trump could defeat The Beast and her media/establishment cronies.
Well done President-Elect Trump! Well done!

and Islamic slavers.

I agree with Senator Cruz. This election was a rejection of the Obama-Clinton agenda. That is why I voted for Trump.
