When the KKK’s favorite candidate — a man who mocks a disabled reporter, brags about sexually assaulting women, dabbles in anti-Semitic tropes and paints Mexican immigrants as “rapists” — gets elected, many of us ask rightly ask: What has become of the openhearted, tolerant, decent America so many of us were certain would reject a character like Donald Trump?
As the country awakes bleary-eyed and disoriented, we are certain that the lights will come up, the horror film will end and all will be put back to normal. The alt-right will go lick its wounds, the lying opportunists will be banished and sanity will have prevailed, right? No, not this time.
We — like just about everyone else, including the Trump campaign itself — failed to see what was coming, but perhaps we can make sense of what happened. Here goes.

What is sad is that they really believe this stuff. Its not just election year screeching. Its at their core. Beware! They will not go quietly into the sunset. *The KKK is a Democrat concern with nothing to do with Donald Trump.
*Mr Trump did not pull a John Lennon and mock someone's disability, the gestures he used in his imitation of a reporter saying something ridiculous is something he used for others, and this has been demonstrated on video for those who bother to check.
* Mr Trump joked about women letting famous people take liberties with them but never bragged about assaulting women. The Feminism LOL you tuber did a very good deconstruction of the false media narrative concerning the recordings made in the bus.
* Mr Trump is not the least bit anti-Semetic, tis another part of the fevered imagination of those who slander him.
* Mr Trump did not paint all Mexicans as criminals or racists, he did say that Mexico doesn't mind sending us their criminal elements along with those who just want to work. It takes only a few seconds of listning to his actually words to confirm this.
As to how such a man could be elected. Such a man can't be elected. This man does not exist. He is the fictional creation of the media haters like those at the Huffington Post and Washington Post and other places. The real Donald Trump, who is a very warm hearted and generous man was elected.
The best part of the evening was the looks on the faces of the “un-biased” media as things went south for Hillary. That alone spoke volumes. Can’t wait for Trumps TV News to start up. We all know it will be labeled as LIES TV. How soon will SNL be broadcasted from Canada?

I vote every time anyway, but when I heard that report, my heart sank (even though I know the MSM are liars).
However, if it was true that a high-ranking campaign official said that, at the very least it could mean that there was a traitor in the campaign trying to sabotage it, which wouldn’t be surprising given the political class’s antipathy to Trump.
Hard to tell if Richard Jones was for or against Trump. Great post, nonetheless.
