Yup, I was a Cruz guy (who stopped posting for awhile to avoid the lightning :-) ). Looking forward to seeing what President Trump can do to drain the swamp, build the wall, and Make America Great Again!

So was I, as were many of us, until Cruz showed his true colors.
That’s all past us now.
No shame in it, Prairie. I was supporting him too. Cruz just didn’t have what it takes; he was a Junior senator who’s ego got the better of him. He needs to mature (??) a little more. And we need him where he is. And for all the rancor that came from this, I will NEVER forget that there was only ONE man who shut the Senate down, and stood up for the “Little Guy” - me - when no one else with an R behind their name would. And that was Ted Cruz.
Grandstanding? Yeah, maybe a little. But at the time, it was a good thing for me to see.
VERY happy that Trump got this. He’s a tough, resourceful, smart, savvy CEO and that is EXACTLY what this country needs right now. He was the Right Man for this time.
He didn’t have to do this. He’s taking a pay cut doing this. But he’s doing this for OUR COUNTRY, and out of love for it.
I’ll take that, any day of the week. And I thank him for it.
