I don’t pray to God all that often. It’s usually because I think He wants me to do my best to overcome adversity on my own. However, for the past few nights I’ve been praying for two things: 1. That He might help people recognize what is true and what is not. 2. That He might grant people the courage to follow their convictions. I have no doubt that, with those two things, good will win. Planning on celebrating with Jack Daniels over ice. In a tumbler. Better yet, just found a new Bourbon called "Larceny" about 90 proof. Perfect name for this evening's festivities, if it holds.
Can't wait until tomorrow night. I'm running a Board Meeting then where I am one or (maybe) two non-Liberals. I will be happily watching heads explode over the election.
Almost as much fun as walking into a meeting with my New York colleagues the day after the Red Sox finished off the Yankees in 2004!
