George W. Bush Didn't Vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump
Fortune ^ | November 8, 2016 | Sarah Begley

George W. Bush and Laura Bush voted two weeks ago, but did not vote for either major party candidate, a spokesperson said.

In a statement to the Wall Street Journal, the spokesperson declined to say whether the former president and first lady had voted for a third-party candidate or whether they had written in another name. Although reports apparently erroneously claimed that the Bushes had voted for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, the failure to vote for Republican nominee Donald Trump is in itself a major departure from political tradition.

I knew Dubya was a treasonous POS as early as 1994 when he sided with illegal aliens instead of Californians in the Prop 187 fight.

I never once voted for him and he continues to convince me that that was the right choice.

I’m guessing that they wrote in Jeb.

i understand people doing certain things in the voting booth. Why did they have to run and tell the press

The Bush clan hates Trump for robbing Jeb of his "entitled" seat at the throne. You're right that their personal bitterness is understandable, if petty. Making it public with the hope that their example inspires others (the few stupid enough to still revere the Bush name) goes far beyond petty.

If Clinton loses this will be the 1st time since 1981 that a Clinton or a Bush has not held a major position of political influence in the USA.

Time to rid the US body politics of this corruption.

Donald did some things rudely, but they were never done without a reason.

And, perhaps they were done in a certain fashion for a specific reason, as well...

Good call. Many of us would have continued with some latent appreciation for GWB had this not occurred. No MAS. No Mas. I hope all the Bushes take the straight/direct path to hell for continuing the downward slide of this once great country.

GWB is too stupid to remember who he voted for. Maybe Karl “the Turd Blossom” could tell him.

I SOOOOO regret my votes in 1988, 2000 and 2004 - I wish there was a way to take them back.

For that matter, I regret my votes in 1996, 2008 and 2012. All of those scumbag GOPe NWO RINOs are just Dem-lites, which is to say, Socialists intent on enslaving all of us. They are traitors to the American People.

If Trump loses (and I don’t think that he will, but FRAUD), then I will NEVER vote Republican again. I’m DONE with that crowd, and very willing to consider a new party...which I suspect will arise in about a week.

I’m also ready for a new news network. Fox is the Romney of networks, appearing to be on our side, but actually stabbing us in the back every chance they get. Hannity is the only decent one there (and Lou Dobbs on Fox’s market channel).

Time to burn the place down and start over. It has become too f’ing corrupt, and there is no fixing it with the existing people WHO CAUSED THE MESS.

As for the Dems...they are like the Bolsheviks in 1918 - they all deserve to be shot.

I knew Dubya was a treasonous POS as early as 1994 when he sided with illegal aliens instead of Californians in the Prop 187 fight.

I knew W. would be bad news with his talk of "compassionate conservatism" and his affinity for Mexican illegals back in 2000. I also knew that he was basically a nonentity who got where he was thanks to his family's connection and wealth rather than on the basis of any effort or merit on his own part.

What I didn't know was just how bad he would turn out to be. You'd think he'd show a little gratitude to the millions of voters who held their noses and voted for him because he was a (slightly) lesser evil than Gore or Kerry by supporting the candidate of choice of these same voters 16 years later. Apparently, that's too much for the plebs and proles to expect of His Royal Majesty.
