George W. Bush Didn't Vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump
Fortune ^ | November 8, 2016 | Sarah Begley

George W. Bush and Laura Bush voted two weeks ago, but did not vote for either major party candidate, a spokesperson said.

In a statement to the Wall Street Journal, the spokesperson declined to say whether the former president and first lady had voted for a third-party candidate or whether they had written in another name. Although reports apparently erroneously claimed that the Bushes had voted for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, the failure to vote for Republican nominee Donald Trump is in itself a major departure from political tradition.

I SOOOOO regret my votes in 1988, 2000 and 2004 - I wish there was a way to take them back.

2004? You'd want to see John Kerry as president? As bad as Bush was, I wouldn't wish Kerry on the country. Besides, it was fun to vote against him.

For that matter, I regret my votes in 1996, 2008 and 2012. All of those scumbag GOPe NWO RINOs are just Dem-lites, which is to say, Socialists intent on enslaving all of us. They are traitors to the American People.

Democrats won a majority of voters in 2008 and 2012. Maybe it's the people who were doing the betraying.

This is intentional. He wants conservatives to leave the party so they can tilt it left. No secret. Goes back to the 2012 GOP “autopsy”

The joke's on him. If Trump supporters leave the GOP, the GOP will become a minor third party competing with Gary Johnson for votes in 2020. They'll be left with about Lindsey Graham and Jeb's combined support from the primaries.

“Knowing about it is quite useful”

It’s sad that the Bush’s announced how they voted. Are they attempting to send us a message?

GW Bush is an absolute disgrace.

I’m washing my hands of the Bushes. I stuck by them through thick and thin, and now just because Jeb didn’t get the nod from the Republicans, they have sour grapes. I have no more respect for them.

I'll remember this for future reference.

No need. The House of Bush has fallen. Now, if we can just defeat the House of Clinton tonight . . .

!cCain was on our AZ ballot for Senator. For the first time in my life, I voted for an off-party person. I have voted since the second Nixon election. Never missed voting and always in person at my polling place.

I have had it with McCain and Flake. Scoundrels, IMHO!

Shame on both George Bushes. They were presidents, but can’t see beyond their family pride, and are not putting their country first - unless they themselves are entangled at some levels in the Clinton network of gain. Even Barbara Bush, when interviewed a few years ago, said that Jeb should not run for president, because one family’s having had two presidents was surely enough for one family.

"No need. The House of Bush has fallen. Now, if we can just defeat the House of Clinton tonight . . ."

And by extension, Obama. It makes Pat Buchanan prescient, as this will vindicate him and reset us back to 1988 to the end of the Reagan Era and the beginning of a series Errors...
