That is actually backwards. GOP voters normally are after work voters. Daytime voting is normally the Dem time.

Calm down.
When a voter exits their polling station a pollster walks up and asks them questions from who they voted for to what issue is most important. IT IS NOT a poll of the actual vote.
Therefore the voter can lie or the pollster can manipulate the data, ie 2004.

I agree with your premise that all the wishing in the world doesn't make it so, but I also remember several elections in which there was the allegation of fraud because the exit polls did not match the outcome (I seem to remember some of this in the Bush-Gore match-up).

People are still voting and networks won’t make projections until they have hard data to make a call.
