Like Illinois. Can’t buy ammo without a FOID card.

“Hope this bill does not pass.”

It isn't a Legislative Bill, it's an Initiative on the ballot to be voted on by the voters tomorrow.

Why don’t the stupid politicians make the first amendment as difficult as the second? Permits to publish a story, pictures, videos, etc... No more than 5 stories a year?

Can Trump build a wall between California and the rest of us after the southern wall is finished?

How does the state of California plan to force the DOJ to do this?

Good question. The City of Los Angeles decreed a year or so ago that all magazines over 10 rounds will be turned in or disposed of.

Guess how many people turned in their 20 or 30 round magazines? Yep, ZERO. No compliance.

So what are they going to do? Put a stamp on the ammunition boxes like they do liqueur and cigarettes?

Sorry to hear that.

Before I got into reloading, I read everything I could in the topic and one item that popped up repeatedly was, "don't buy reloads from someone you don't know/trust.

The primary concerns were double powder throws (big boom) or a skipped powder throw resulting in a squib, with the subsequent round blowing the barrel.

>What part of “shall not be infringed” do they not understand?

Did you\anyone expect the 1930’s original ‘gun control’ laws to end their desire for govt control and suppression of Rights?

Tell me, when does a politician or judge reference the Constitution, unless it’s to cover their own ass??

The Citizens of this once great Republic allowed the coup w/out having fired a shot (OK, Athens, TN....blind squirrel and all).

I was still building a supply of brass for reloading at the time of the taper crimped 44mag reloads. My wife and I would shoot 400 rounds of 38SPL each every week while in San Diego. I reloaded for everything in a pistol caliber and a small number of rifle cartridges. Since moving to Idaho, I have done little shooting or reloading. Too busy most of the time. The garage work area is never a comfortable temperature compared to my digs in San Diego. C'est la vie.

I scored a deal on a used Glock 23C. The original owner fired a squib. He decided to clear the barrel by using a high speed steel drill bit. Destroyed the factory Glock barrel. To my delight, he replaced it with a Jarvis barrel. The case head is fully supported. The brass is reloadable instead of slightly ballooned at the case head as is typical of a Glock barrel. I run 165 gr in all of my 40 S&W. The 180 gr just slams the frames unnecessarily. It's my only Glock.

The possibility of a squib seriously challenges the standard tap-rack-bang drill. Only do that if you are in a real shootout. Otherwise, be sure to inspect the round that only clicked! One hopes to see a complete round in there ...

"A state cannot vote to impose an obligation onto a federal authority."

It isn't. That's the California Department of Justice.

A squib and a misfire (tap and rack) sound completely different. Click vs pop. But yes, a tap and rack on a squib would likely be not pretty.

Vote no, people. No no no.

And check out for other propositions the website of one of the few good guys in congress. Tom McClintock. He has great short descriptions of all the props. Funny too.
