MADISON - Wisconsin election officials have now received nearly 800,000 early ballots, far exceeding the number tallied in the two previous presidential elections.
The latest figures from the Wisconsin Elections Commission show early voting continued to pick up steam last week in the ultra-conservative WOW counties Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington and in Dane and Milwaukee counties, historically liberal strongholds. Early voting also spiked in Brown and Outagamie counties, which has a heated congressional race on Nov. 8 ballots.

It seems like there is way more early voting this year than the past POTUS elections. It will be interesting to see how that translates to election day turnout.

I’ve already told him to cuddle the kitties and let someone else change the catbox for a while but I don’t think he’s listening.

With this stuff being talked about for months, people are giving it more credibility. Most people are blissfully unaware of where they fit in the food chain. Understanding that they are drawing closer and closer to being snapped-up seed corn is important.

So why don’t you go to DU and duly find an “Early voting spikes late in Democrat suburbs” article and post it, huh? I think your cats own you and are making sport of you.

Standard reply when someone doesn’t like it when a member here isn’t wearing rose tinted glasses. Went through this nonsense in 2012. Don’t have a DU account and don’t plan on opening one. Will be voting for Trump tomorrow right when the precinct opens at 7am, as will my wife.

Dear Sir and Ma’am,
Mitt was at best a moldy “meh” sandwich from start to finish, and got the last minute boosting he did out of desperation. He’d be less bad than Barack Obama and might actually do something smart now and then (but otherwise sullying the GOP brand).
Donald has come up with some solid red meat. No rose colored glasses are needed to see that this ain’t chicken.

Wisconsin should closely mirror Iowa imo.
Mo. Iowa doesn't have a Milwaukee. Wisconsin also has a lot of heavy industry compared to Iowa. Michigan is a better comparison.

Need some Wisconsin people to weigh in.
I lived in Wisconsin and worked there for three years until 2015, in the heart of the neast, DOT in Madison. I felt like I was getting away with something n 2012 because my car wasn't keyed for a Herman Cain bumper sticker. Madison is the only palce where I have seen Planned Parenthood lawn signs.
We lived in Edgerton, a small town 30 miles south of Madison, a different world, but a lot of people who don't vote how they live.Having left WI in late 2014, I don't have a feel for how Trump plays there. I do know that top-rated Charlie Sykes is close to a Never Trumper.
My preferred radio hostess, Vicki McKenna started with Walker (natch) eventually went over to Cruz, going with Trump when it was clear it was Trump or Hillary Clinton. I still listen on I Heart Radio from time to time.
Trump was pretty unfair dumping on Walker's record in the primary (even though Walker was already out), using the lefty labor union/Dem talking points. We can only hope that brains and survival overcome pride on that matter.

The 6 big counties in Texas with over 50% turnout traditionally go Republican. Meanwhile, one of the Democrat counties had less than a third of the voters cast ballots thus far (although most were in the mid 40s.)
