WISCONSIN

This is the first presidential election in Wisconsin in which voters will be asked for photo identification. The voter ID law was initially blocked by the courts, and then went into effect for the presidential primary in April. In July, a federal judge left the voter ID requirement in place but struck down more than a dozen other election changes, including limits on early voting hours and locations.

As many as 300,000 Wisconsin voters may not have the required photo ID. In recent weeks, recordings by voter advocacy groups have shown state DMV workers giving people inaccurate information about what they can do to obtain alternative voting credentials if they lack a photo ID. A federal judge in October ordered the state to clarify the process and produce a simple, one-page handout that can be distributed in person and online.

We have alot of voters in San Antonio who do not have photo IDs..they sign an affidavit explaining why they don’t have one and can then use several different sources..electric bill in their name, etc. We had to explain this time and again to minorities when we were working get out the vote here..so many thought they could not vote because they did not have photo ID

Dems fought voter ID for years here in Wisconsin. Despite video of busloads being shipped in from Chicago to vote they insist there is no fraud. And voter ID discriminates. Against who??

Don’t you need a photo ID to buy beer in Wisconsin? And who doesn’t buy beer in Wisconsin?

They may be frustrating illegal aliens, but not legitimate voters.
We have had to have ID in VA for years.

No matter who wins, we need to start a “Please don’t vote if you’re an idiot” campaign.

#1: If you are a citizen who does NOT know how to get a photo ID, then you are not smart enough to vote.

#2: The cover story of “valid voter disenfranchisement” used by leftists to allow illegal aliens to vote should be exposed as blatantly racist, which it is:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odB1wWPqSlE

Of course, you could simply accuse leftists of wanting to allow illegal alien voting, but the rank-and-file simply say “nuh-uh it’s about the blacks”, at which point you can play the racist card and win.

This is good news since it will be a problem for Clinton voters to a much greater extent.

Civil rights groups are also monitoring a group of other states with new voting restrictions or requirements in place for the first time. Those states are Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

I'm pretty sure the rules in Virginia are the same for this election as they were for the last one.

If Trump doesn't win, that campaign will be considered "hate speech."

If having to have a photo ID to vote is hindering you, perhaps you should not be voting in the first place. You’re too stupid to obtain an ID card, you’re too stupid to vote.

how do they et their welfare with no photo id??

If the government is so concerned then why dont they have an ID program in place for people?

It would be bette to help people have an ID then complain we have to accomodate everyone who doesn;t have one. You need an ID for almost everything.

You ask good questions....the state of Texas made these rules..you would have to ask them...do not assume these people are on welfare. Many are working poor..they do not ask for assistance. And I agree...they should have an ID program available.

Well, apparently you never tried to get a photo ID for a dead guy. It's not so easy. Note very photogenic. You just can't get them to say "cheese".

Is Wisconsin still doing voting day registration? I’m tired of hearing about Dems being bussed in (or rental car fleeted in, Scott) from out of state for same day registrations.

As many as 300,000 Wisconsin voters may not have the required photo ID.

That actually isn't surprising considering that the election date was sprung on us just last week. If only we had SOME way of knowing an election was coming up and when it was scheduled...then we could have done something about getting the required ID. But, NO, they sprung another one on us totally unexpectedly. If they ever get around to scheduling these things, say, four years in advance, THEN we could get the required ID cards. Until then, it's just more racism.
