If Serpent Head is nervous . . . There was an ironic contrast on todays Morning Joe. On the one hand, Steve Schmidtformer McCain campaign manager turned Trump antagonistsees no real chance for the Donald. Said Schmidt: Ive been in the camp that says its been over for some time, and that the bill is coming due for the tone and tenor of Trumps campaign. Schmidt sees Hillary cruising to a win with 320-340 Electoral College votes.
It was actually James Carville who in contrast said that its not impossible for Trump to win, and indeed that hes a nervous wreck. Of the swing states, Carville said he feels best about Florida for Hillary. But he added: I think she has a better chance to carry Arizona than Ohio. Since all recent indications are that Trump has Arizona comfortably in hand, it sounds like Carville has written off Ohio for Clinton.

Did you see this?
Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank appears to have asked the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to do the majority of the research for a negative column he wrote about Donald Trump in April 2016.
So you listen to Nate Silver> You lost me right there. You have cognitive dissonance my friend. You are not thinking, you are allowing talking heads in biased media to think for you.
You know, I hear this a lot lately, and I don’t buy it.
Why would they even select Palin just to turn on her and lose the election?
No, I think McCain actually chose her, but after that, didn’t do much else.
Remember he grew up as a very privileged admiral’s son and became an admiral himself. Officers like this have a tendency to expect everyone to know what they’re thinking and just do it. Besides being that kind of an officer, he didn’t like fights. Or at least he didn’t want the hassle of countering someone opposed to him. A “reach around” kind of guy.
In other words, I’m calling McCain a bonehead, not a backstabber. Schmidt and Nicole Wallace were able to portray Palin as going “rogue”; saying she was looking past the 2008 election towards 2012. Well, since McCain wouldn’t fight, maybe this was true? I think McCain believed them and that infighting sunk his campaign. No one should have hired Schimdt or Wallace ever again, but these two losers make a lot more $$$ than you or I!!!
Steven Schmidt?
Oh, yeah - the guy that ran the failed McCain campaign and dissed Sarah Palin throughout the run.
The guy who worked the George Bush campaign and turned a sure landslide into a near one-state loss.
Yeah, that Steven Schmidt.
You know, the funny thing about Carville is that there is no need to do political cartoons of him. He already is a cartoon character.
Mimicking his accent...well that’s fun.
We can only hope he takes his own life or dies miserably like leftists should.
That’s the spirit!
My prediction is that she won't last due to health issues and the shadow government will try to pull a roosevelt or wilson scam with the bureaucracy running the show.
It's going to be funny. Sad but funny.
Jimmy C. will be judged by the company he’s kept.
We’ll see what happens with him, and the many others on our list.
Authoritarians are naturally into the use of force. They may pretend to pacifists when they don't have command.
Whatever. But I still believe McCain was a rat fink in Viet Nam. I believe that because he has been a solid, unwavering rat fink since he got back and entered politics.
Agree. One of the worst day’s in American history — the day Federal tyranny asserted itself openly and religious liberty died (not to mention 76 civilians, including women & children, and four ATF agents).
Get out of here with that nonsense!
