I thought Comey’s comments pertained to the email investigation. The Clinton Foundation investigation is on a separate track.

Yes because last week the joke was a presidential candidate under 2 investigations. Now it’s back down to one.
My glass half full theory is that they saw the email thing as being bad for the USA so they’re going to drop it and stay with the foundation investigation because it’s almost as bad, worse in some ways and won’t do the damage to the country that a criminal SOS would do.
Of course that theory is reliant upon FBI field offices being willing and able to carry forth a full investigation, unimpeded.
My glass half empty theory is that obama’s had 8 years to fundamentally change our government’s MO and created a gangsta gubmint that will squash any serious investigation into anything clinton.
History is on the side of the glass being half empty.
